So these guys that have reviewed him so far, have alredy leveled, ranked and ascended him, and used him in all that content, in an hour and 1/2, DURING CVC?  

Edit: 5 minutes after he was available one of my clan members posted a ss and bragged he was the first to rate him lol.

In game reviews aren't always the most accurate and in this case they're fairly incorrect. Seems pretty likely people are voting with their feelings rather than actually reviewing the champ. 

I know why theyre doing it, i just think its funny.  

looking at his kit and multipliers, he is- average.

not rubbish, just average. He looks designed for very early game players who have trouble with getting a defence down champ and issues with accuracy.

 Having said that, i wouldnt rate him personally unless i decide to take him out the vault and actually use him, reviews should be by people who have used him.

This faction specific nonsense is a huge step back, especially considering that he is geared towards newer players, for the longest time my champions were all rounders until my roster filled out and I could start building specialists.

Totally agree - newer players require more 'all rounders', this new specific idea they are introducing is whilst not exactly limiting imo a bad idea

He has an aoe drop defence that hits fairly hard, not sure i would ever book him if i started a new account now (warmaiden does the same job) but he will be ok for really early accounts even if you ignore the faction stuff?

True, but it's a gimmick - they could have not put faction specific especially if it is 'for newer players'

They have enough to try to sort out without more thats not really needed

He's decent for wave control and CAN hit pretty hard.  I leveled/ascended him pretty quick and threw some gear on him.  His freeze helps control waves and steal buffs (on ogryn/orc) works well getting passed multiple maneaters.  For a FTP account he will be very helpful.  If you already have a bunch of built champs, he's not likely someone that you will find as useful compared to someone with minimal built champs.  

During CVC is the perfect time to level up a new champ, snag a lot of points fast ;)

Yes yes I leveled him during CVC, and got the easy points.  Leveling him up doesn't really justify a review/rating imo, although he leveled up as easily as any other leggo so i guess I can give him 5s for that.

I didn't use in him CB, Arena, Tag, Dungeons, Keeps, and FW in an hour and a 1/2 though.  Seems like CVC would be the worst time to do all this tesing.  The op posted an hour and 1/2 after the champ became available.  

I see what you're saying now.  I had already hit a good amount of points, which grew even further once you get the 30k from getting s1mple.  I have the resources to level/ascend and book him quick.  So I used mine in a few places as well as doom to try him out.  I could see the hr and a half if the OP is in the same situation, I had mine built and tested a few places by the same time frame-ish.

I leveled and ascended, but would not put books on him at least for now.  Was glad to get him during the event for the points.  I can see testing one or two content locations if you're already ahead in cvc AND you are thinking he'd be good in them, but I think most of these ratings were formed before he was available.

Kinda like the hate for Ninja before anyone found out just how good that champ is in the game!  This isn't the same scenario unfortunately, s1mple is a solid champ but nowhere near the level of awesome Ninja is.  Just my .02

It is like that.  I don't know how he'll work out, but little point in reviewing the ride before you've been in the driver seat lol.

 With the severe faction restrictions in place Aleksandr just has no chance of being a good champion and the legendary book requirement makes him a dubious investment even for a very young account. There are rares and epics that are just objectively better than he is and are also easier to book. He's playable if you have a weak roster, realistically a 3, 3.5 at best. I hope someday Plarium eases the Orc/Ogryn restrictions, then he'd be a solid 4 and situationally powerful.

I think high elf hunting orcs and ogryn is nice theme and mechanic, but firstly he should be better than he is at the moment then add more things against specific faction/s.
