I sent them an e-mail to tell me the status of my mercy system, bcz it's been 4-5 months since I got a legendary champ. And I think I surpassed their countdown at least on ancient shards. They didn't respond so far, and it's been 2 says. Some of my clan colleagues have the same problem with the transparency of plarium. And we're a big clan, actually 5 clans with the same leaders, multiple accounts on everyone, etc.
Can someone from Plarium please respond to the aforementioned question?
No apps are currently allowed that dig into the game code to tell you this. If you don't keep track yourself, there is no legitimate way to know.
I wasn't talking about third party apps. I was talking about taking some stance against plarium's policy regarding the mercy system. And was curious if someone got any answers from them...

Hello! I am not from Plarium, but I can tell you that they do not reveal the status of your mercy. If you'd like to know, you have to track from your previous legendary the old fashioned way.

Keep in mind if you are taking notes, that pulling an epic champion from an ancient shard will not advance your mercy counter.
So while the info text ingame would lead to the impression, that after 220 shards pulled you'll get a guaranteed legendary, the number might be actually higher. I ended up with getting one at 239 because I pulled some epic champs before.
What truth?
Well, with regard to the mercy counter, I think it's to prevent people from delaying pulls. If I know exactly how many ancients I've pulled without a legendary, I can plan things out to guarantee that I pull a legendary during a Summon Rush or whatever.
Most of Plarium's weirder decisions make sense in terms of the fact that it's not in their financial interest for players to stockpile resources.

I track mine and used this information to determine that if I bought 13 Ancients, I'd be garanteed to not only get a legendary but to get the extra free one as well. Pulled Trunda and got Saito for free.

Nice! That's how winning is done! I wish I'd had the foresight when I started my FTP... I think I'm somewhere around 50-ish. Too imprecise!

At the same token we are talking about guaranteed legendaries so whos to say the next shard you pull isnt a legendary or is? you never know till you take the chance and thats what shards are about chance. Now this would stop people from spending if they knew when their next guranteed legend would be that wouldnt be great for plarium or the player because now the player is missing out on the chance of summoning a game changing lego

Well, once the mercy counter is maxed out at 219, there's no longer any element of fortuity (as insurance lawyers say). The player can use that information "against" Plarium by pulling the "sure thing" shard at an opportune moment.
any updates on mercy counter? Seems silly not to have one.
I think it's so funny they still have no implemented one into the game. A lot of gacha games have built in trackers in their apps... i get we can write it down and calculate it ourselves, but if we are given a mercy system with exact values transparency why not just provide us with an ingame tracking system?
