Definitely still seeing loads of very easy opponents in gold IV... though you could be right, my team is good enough that it takes a while before I really start to notice increased difficulty. 

I haven't noticed any changes yet.  Every now and then Arena Gold 4 will refresh with a bunch of low level teams

I still see them, but thanks to the event I need to find them more often as I keep getting knocked out of G4.

Still seeing the "non-bot" pages in G4. Had 4 pages in a row just last night. 

Just a bit of bad luck I guess, sorry. 

I had 2 back to back "bot" pages after today's 8 EST reset.  They are still there.

The  low  level  teams  should  start  to  be  beaten  back  into  silver  or  maybe  low  gold  as  time  goes  on.  

Those beginner players often referred to as "bots" are actual people, who had been added to the main server at some point while ago. Initially, the majority of them had low-level accounts, so it appeared as if Arena suddenly became considerably easier. After some time, they progressed through lower Tiers, and so people in those lower leagues gradually stopped seeing those "bots". At some point in the future, those players will progress further, so the situation is going to change somewhat.

However, at some point, there was a technical update to the Arena matchmaking, and so Arena is not going to be as hard as it used to be before it anyway.

who cares about arena?? platinum is mode for players who  mortgaged their own house ,farm much as u cane and dont care.

I think I understand what you are saying but I do not agree with it in practice. 

I am G4 all the time, I am not plat level but usually within a few hundred points of plat before the final scamble for the finish and I still see plenty of these low level players (non-bots). I honestly do not believe that some of them could be in G4 with the defence teams they have and their player power (some player powers are lower than teams I face on the next page). 

I am still a believer that it should not be easy to get into the top leagues and it should be challenging for the player base to stay there. But I also think we make gold more accessible for the missions by adding something above gold but behind plat. Give everyone a chance to be happy... if that is possible. 

Oh, shush for a couple of years until im done with grinding great hall :P

Still bots in g4 today, no changes yet that I can 

Ya I saw a page of bots yesterday, but not seeing them nearly as often and seeing much better teams.

I think I jumped the gun somewhat must have been due to the tournament linked with the fusion at the time of my op. Still def seeing less of those nice free win pages, and even the non free pages are harder than before. I don't know if that has to do with my rank or what but I do not finish close to play ever so I don't know. 

I set a weak defense to stay in bottom or middle of G4 otherwise I end up dipping into plat, not good.... lol.  At bottom of G4 there is enough "bad" teams only beating bots to stay in g4 that I don't have to wait for a bot page.  So I am not sure if the bots are less frequent or its just rng...

No, it's a good thing.  I consider Classic Arena legacy content, and don't want them to do anything to increase the time required to do it.  

For those that want to compete for Platinum, it is additional content for them.  I will never be worried about that.  Tag Arena takes way too much time as it is, no need to have to spend more than 5 or 10 minutes in classic.

The real solution is to add more tiers above gold 4 to reflect the increased numbers of players in mid to end game of course

But failing that, i would settle for the current bots...i mean current low level players from a different server segment.
