I'd highly suggest making a separate tab for the two.  The way it works currently is just really bad UI work.  Basically, the new player login reward tab disappeared (which might have been unsettling for new players who expected to get lifesteal gear) to be replaced with the Ninja tab.  Then you select the login reward from the Ninja tab, close out of it, and then another pop-up is in its place.  I mentioned this to support and they told me to post it here and that mods could forward the suggestion.  They seem to do that a lot by the way if you are a mod here.  I'm not sure how much you guys discuss things internally.
