Why I have stopped spending money on this game

First I want to say that I have loved this game for three plus years now and spent more than I am willing to admit on two accounts (you have my email address and can see for yourselves).  You guys have created something amazing and it has been tons of fun.

But there are some serious problems as I see it for a long term player

1) Duplicate and or worthless legendary champions are a real gut punch - normally I would be loading up on shards and gems for the boosted event in hopes of getting a cool new champ - but I just dont see the point with the dups I keep getting - SOLUTION = let us trade in champs for something we want - maybe a Mercenary Outpost or Heroes Den add-on to the the bastion with a visting champion that you could trade 3-4 unwanted champions for and it could rotate each week or something - using legendary champs as chickens sucks and makes you not want to even try.

2) Inventory artifact / accessory managment is getting to overwelming - I can't enjoy a game that requires 20+% of my in-game time dealing with crap. I'm not asking that you up the inventory count because you have already done that 2-3 times over the last two years - but if you have no room in inventory, you are not going to buy any of the gear offer in app purchases - SOLUTION = let us see/sell stuff from the inbox screen

3) Clan Boss keys should have higher storage count - some days you just cant get on every 6 or 12 hours - come on this one is easy

4) Fix the timer issue on long fights - maybe my teams are just bad but this error on a fight that lasts more than 40 min and sends you to the bastion is a huge waste of time

ok I admit the last two are small - but if you want long time spenders to keep sending you money you will seriously consider addressing the first two issues     - Thank you for your time

One more idea - perhaps just and add on to the portal would work to address the Duplicate Champs issue - how about trading in champions for fragments or "wild cards" towards the fragment and fusions events.

I personally have spent a ton of $$$ as well to get my account where it is

I have  not spent a $ in last 6 months just because when I do manage to summon a Legend its another Dupe. I use to buy shards all the time.....not anymore

If Plarium wants more $$$$ from me they need to offer a solution to Dupe legends to ME.

Stop the promises and deliver, otherwise I continue to play as a FTP

Just as a follow up, becuase it's been a over month now since I stopped spending money on this game, I still enjoy RAID but I am spending my monthly gaming $$ elsewhere until this duplicate issue is resolved. Thats several hundred $$ every month going to other games instead of being spent here.

I hope you folks at RAID are aware of this LOST revenue

If you want my wishlist - stop sending things to mailbox which have zero negative consequence to use immediately. I'm talking things like silver, runes, chickens, etc.

Conversely, stop automatically using things which *do* have negative consequences. Here I'm talking things like 2x XP, energy, etc.

Also - auto-claim rewards from quests when they expire. This is how it works for tournaments and events, but for quests, you simply lose the rewards if you don't claim them. And auto-use things from mailboxes when they expire.

These are all minor things, yes, but they add up, and should be super simple fixes.

I'll forward these on! Some of them I'm particularly fond of myself. :)

I easily agree with everything you have said. I am almost 2 yers now and I'm still spending $30-$50 a month, but I'm thinking of eventually moving to another game or to Microsoft's Game Pass.

I checked Murder Inc interviews but they dont give any specific answers. Wht they did that? If you dont have specific answers, dont do interviews, Plarium.

I agreed with you, i went to FTP too. I dont need more promises, without nothing.

Dupe system, more  slots for heroes, time fastening etc. Where ?  Never completed promises.

i went ftp after dupes back to back and was not impressed with 0 legos from 24 during a 2x sacred event - pretty much cemented my stance not spending another cent on this game no matter the offer

i will say though the life tokens for dupes looks good already have my stocks of dupes up to 7 lol just need to wait for mashalled or bek to go in the pool then ill cash them in

foli would be fun but madame recently helped me finish dark elves 21 that i was stuck on before i grabbed her during the guaranteed event so see what their thoughts are on rotating the pool on offer

I wish there was more clarity given. That video was posted a month ago, and no timelines have been provided. I've started hoarding my epics, which means needing to increase my vault ever more. If I knew how long before they expanded the vault, and what they were going to offer, it would make it far easier to plan.

Winter is when I was told to expect it.

I mean, I live in Canada, so that could basically be any time from tomorrow until the heat death of the universe ;)

I noticed that I spent quite a worrying among of money on games ($300+ in a month). $300+ is quite a lot of money to me as I need to work for over a month to get that amount (I am a student and only work part times on weekends). The reason how all this started is that recently, I have had really good luck in draws, so I decided to spend a little amount at first to get more shiny new units, however, it becomes a snowball effect as I kept telling myself, “Okay, I will spend a bit more and get more nice units", and well, I overdid it :( I kept telling myself that I have nothing to feel guilty about as I am using my own money, but I know otherwise. My parents would kill me if they found out how much I spent on games. Please, I need tips on how to resist my temptation to spend

Honestly, if you have very low self-control, you need to step away from games like this entirely. They can ruin your life.

Maaaybe you can change your mindset to be free to play, which implies enjoying the challenge of the game, where spending feels like cheating and is thus naturally undesirable.

I am not a psychologist or therapist by any means, but my recommendation is to find a better substitute for the dopamine hit that you are currently getting when you get a "win" from gambling.  For example, a friend of mine used to have a problem with the pokies at pubs or a casino, and to wean himself off it he started playing it through a computer game that doesn't take any real money.  There are a lot of other gatcha games out there that might scratch that itch if you can find one that isn't so blatent with it's cash advertisements

I also think that the first step of recognizing that you have a problem is a great start.  You just need to keep moving forward.  Maybe also do an exercise whereby each time you would spend something on the game, you instead put the money aside for a month, and then at the end of the month treat yourself to something like a night out.  Give yourself something to look forward to, and subsequently a reason to hold off on that immediate spend
