Question, with some chamions I see by they skill ,damage based by HP (mountain King)or attack
or Def (like Scyl of the Drakes).
Means that you don't have to place critrate or critacal damage, but more hp for mountain king for more damage execute?
My interpretation is that it bases the damage on whatever stat or combo it says and it then uses that as base damage for crit calculation. One site description for mountain king says things like:
Damage Multiplier: 0.3 HP + 1.8 ATK
So base dmg presumably is much more based on attack.
So no - I think crit chance and damage have the same effect and requirements.

Comment: A multiplier on 0.3 HP and 1.8 att on many champions would make HP the main damage-dealer since its easyer to get HP to insane levels :)
Usually the 1st noted in the skill is the place to put the focus,,, however i would look a tutorial at youtube anyway :)
