Agreed. some of the events in the game are clearly aimed at whales only, and just pushing non-whales to open the wallet some more. Instead of rewarding or supporting those who dump time and effort into the game.

In fact it almost seems like some of the rewards and such they hand out are almost designed to punish f2p players or put them at a disadvantage.

I am shocked and appalled. I can't believe that a business would attempt to get customers to spend money.  And then punishing us free loaders with handouts... lmao 

Sure, its a business and they want to make money- thats fine.

But this event would require spending about 150 dollars in three days to get 1 character in a game?.

That surely only appeals to a tiny percentage of people? to most it will seem crazy.  I dont mind spending a bit in games, but the prices of the packs etc are astonishing.

In my case I would need to buy 3 packs of 40 ancients each at $99 as advertised  in my shop to aquire enough ancients to be guaranteed this Legend. I see that point you make

BUT........No one is forcing me to do that. Its just a offer if some are so inclined or able

Personally I am saving  my now 9 sacred shards and 28 ancients along with 3 voids for next weekend which I suspect will be the Fragment Fusion for a free Legend from the new faction

I will open all my shards then at the best chance to get the new faction champs as I complete tourneys/events for fragments

We all have choices to make. I am not butt hurt that I will not be taking the current 150 ancient shard offer for a legend and neither should  it bother you ;)

I think it is a marketing tactic to make players use their saved shards before they release new factions. Remember they made triple 2x event? I believe that is one of this tactic too. 

Imagine a company wanting to squeeze the people that dump tons of cash into the game and lose/push out tons of players that don't. Guess that's the black and white  difference between Good Games and trashy garbage. 

This was indeed a surprise for everyone especially that we just had a 2x weekend before this. Personally though I think that you shouldn't stress that much about it more so if you really don't spend on the game anyway. It's healthier to play the game at your own pace, having Lix won't make or break your account. 

OMG  stop  complaining.  Think  of  it  as  a  bonus,  we  couldve  had  just  a  normal  10X.

Even if you are not free to play look how much 150 blue shards cost i can tell u thats over 600 cash and its foolish !!

I think plarium is banking on curiosity of players , but players who are patient and prefer working with what they have will realise there is no point in blindly buying shards specially when you can hold only 300 champs in the vault. so I am pretty certain 150 shards is not a good option.

Nope, it's 300 dollars. You have to buy 12k gems to exchange 150 blue shards and it cost $300. 

It is ridiculous. From all points of view.

People who bought Countess, probably don't need her, because their accounts are already stacked. And people who would benefit from her, won't buy her for 300 bucks.

Doesn't even make sense as money making scheme. I am not buying 5 shard packs to get her. I would buy 1 tho, maybe even 2 if they were great value. And I am very confident in saying that for every whale that bought 5 packs, there is more than 5 people, who would buy 1 pack.
