what to do when no one can win in the arena

what to do when no one can win in the arena, (the your team and the opponent)  and it goes on and on. if i break it then i lose points, want to do that? is it not better that plarium set a certain time limit, that if no one has won within the time limit, it will stop.

Agreed,  you  shouldnt  he  forced  to  quit  when  the  match  is  clearly  unwinnable  by  either  side.  I'd  like  to  see  the  same  for  dungeons,  there  was  a  few  times  i  set  my  auto  runs  up  over  night  on  Fire  Knight  only  to  wake  up  to  find  Valkyrie  and  the  boss  are  still  going  at  it  after  3  hours  :)

I do think dungeons/DT/FW could be improved by doing something about unkillable champions ruining your auto run, like on FK if an unkillable opponent is just having his turn meter reduced so much by Alure that he will never get another turn and hence never lose the unkillable. Perhaps the unkillable buff could disappear as soon as all of your champions have had five turns since this enemy's last turn, something like that - so it only intervenes if the situation is really stuck. 

But when it comes to fights where you aren't stuck as such, you just don't have what it takes to finish off the enemy, then it makes sense that the attacker loses. I suppose they could make that automatic after X amount of turns, rather than forcing the attacker to just pause and quit, but I do think it should count as a defeat.

I don't think setting time limits is a good idea. The game runs differently for everyone, players with slower devices will be at a disadvantage. 

As for arena offense, you have all the advantages as the attacker, so that's on you to accept the defeat if you really can't get through the opponents defense, and just leave the match. You can re-run the match anyway with better chances, now that you have a rough idea if he's faster than you, has immunity/shields, etc.

Yes, we are aware of the possibility of such an awkward scenario in the arena. We do not want to introduce restriction to arena fights based on time or number of turns and thus we consider other workarounds for avoiding the game experience that you've described

Had same scenario multiple times in arena, in this case should be something like draw, and split points or something

I don't see that the attacker has all the advantages at all -  I can see their team and power but have no real idea until I start because I can't see any indication of their kit, masteries, speed etc  - other than guessing based on the opaque and often misleading power ratings. 

As raised on many posts arena is broken for many - this occasional never ending fight issue makes it marginally even more frustrating becsause you're forced to quit and lose more points when they're hard enough to come by as it is.

I agree that defender should win stalemate.  What advantage does the defender have, lol....

Arena is not broken, at least I have seen no evidence as to the case.  As far I can tell bots still exist  in all tiers, they may have made the bots slightly harder or more infrequent but classic arena is PvE now.  If you can't refresh a couple times a day for bots or can't beat the bots, well...

Thanks for replying Trips - appreciate the help you try to give. 

But ... this is my current view of just into bronze 2.  Refreshed about 5 times today. Love to see where all these bots are hiding out - I;ve seen what I think is probably 3 today in total (single character, low mixed levels etc). And surely if the system worked properly we shouldn't need to constantly refresh to find a few anyway!!  😉

wins the rest of those matches

maybe an idea for a certain amount of time (15 minutes) that the teams get a destroy in their hp every minute or second, so that the fight ends in that way in the arena

I agree with trips arena has going smooth lately. Perhaps some youtube videos on arena team building etc. The more u understand who does what the easier it gets. Recognizing champions and adjusting etc.

I agree with trips arena has going smooth lately. Perhaps some youtube videos on arena team building etc. The more u understand who does what the easier it gets. Recognizing champions and adjusting etc. 

I do too, but still have sometimes these problems. a certain time is usually attached to the football match With football you sometimes have that no one can win, then something is also done so that a winner is determined in a different like a penalty


often the healers are left in the arena only after everyone is dead, then it can take a very long time

unless you have a STUN / DAZE Hero with good ACC ............

That is the one thing I learned early enough

For multi-battles, there can be an option for time limits that the player can set. Just like the checkboxes to continue/stop after defeat or to continue/stop after all max level, there can be a checkbox to continue/stop after 15 minutes.

you can't always prepare well for how to attack, because you don't know what gear they have. So you suddenly find yourself in the arena with opponents with a huge buffer.


opponents with an indefensible skill should have this for a maximum of 5 minutes, even in rest mode. This prevents the game from sticks around  with Decreases the target's Turn Meter  on a opponent with  unkillable skill. The opponents cant turn, and it stays in unkillable. That what i noticed is, in arena main idicator is you current player level. Doesnt matter on which arena level i'm always get roll of opponets -3 +3 of my current player level. My coclusions are base on my fights (need 400 silver so focuing on arena for cuple of week now, have 75 silver so far :D )

I aslo use speed team with 70k, so now i have chance to crack open and kill some of other speed teams.

But have opponents with 90+k, for which i dont have enoguh nuke power to kill.

Other thing what i noticed that opnents team composition depends on your team composition:

When i didnt have HK on lead - had 90% of speed lead teams each roll, then i changed to HK as lead now im facing only 30% speed teams, others are mostly 90k with high def/hp, which i cannot nuke :/
