I don't want to say too much about my thoughts on the game- seeing as being a mod might make my opinions appear biased. I'll let others give you more detailed thoughts. I'll just say this- like you, the art is what got me into the game, but the grind is what kept me going for almost 2 years now.
PS I'm surprised to hear someone say that they haven't heard about the game. I feel like Raid ads are almost everywhere, it even has memes about it.
I find that there are too many youtubers doing raid videos to watch them all. So there is alot of info on the game out there
