It reminds me of wow when they would make a non mythic boss that you had to have just one class to counter a certain  ability  or you could not beat the boss.

Normal floor 100 has this issue. I get through the 2 battles before tge scarab king in under 20 Seconds,  but then can't even get 25% of scarab health down because only 8 put of 500 champions can do it is a shiny design for normal. On hard mode I could see this

This is an end game content. And "end game" is not proportion to how much 6 stars you have or how long you have been playing.

Honestly, even on normal mode, I expected that I will start to manual at stage 60 above. But I still can auto stage 100. I expected this to be a little more harder. 

What level is the boss on 100 normal? The one on 50 hard is 250. Was a long battle but I don't recall needing 1 of only 8 champs? If you have 39 60s would think you are missing some strategy at the level of normal. 

If you're referring to champions with decrease max HP: a destroy gear set will achieve the same effect. Sure, it takes effort/resources to build a champion just for decreasing max HP, or alternatively to replace a lot of gear on your existing high-damage champions for a destroy set, then swap it back again afterwards, but as JoinMe said, this is supposed to be endgame content and to take some effort. 

If you're referring to champions with AOE shield abilities, there are epics and even rares with that ability and if you don't have a single one, you could still try to make it work with several champions who do single-target shields.

I've finally beaten Hard-30. Got this team from Youtube (ColdBrewGaming). It contained 4 level 60s there.

Earlier I tried a similar team without High Khatun, and several teams that tried to tank hits, they all failed.

Doom Tower made me book High Khatun.

In a spreadsheet stats are:

Normal-100 is 150 speed, 100 resist (level 170). The rest of his stats are irrelevant because he never moves. They are slightly higher on Hard-30 than on Normal-100.

Hard-30 is 200 speed, 30 resist (level 200).

So I think my team should work on Normal-100. Will check when I hit another wall on Hard and go to Normal again. Waves may be harder on Normal, though.

U don't even need to reduce max hp. It can be brute-forced if you have enough healing.

I don't know what I need to kill the boss on 100. What kind of champion skills?

I consider myself an average player with player power 2 mil. I powered my way to the top of the tower on NORMAL with my arena gold 4 team and did not change any gear along the way. Just swapped out my individual team a couple times

Nether Spider at floor 120 Normal....I can kill her but my team does not require the accuracy to land a HP burn as I did  in lower levels. So if I were not so lazy I am sure with some gear swapping I could correct this

I was unable to finish 3 secret rooms along the way

An acceptable journey for Normal difficulty and a average player . I will look forward to next reset and hope I can do better when the tower gets rearranged

Shields and either destroy max HP skills, or a high-damage champion in a destroy max HP set. If you have strong turn meter reduction champions (like Armiger, or Alure except she's weak affinity), then you can try to just prevent the boss from ever taking a turn - if you permanently have a shield on every champion, however weak it may be, you won't get the auto-attacks of his passive and you can just slowly grind them down. But as soon as he takes a turn, it may be game over. 

Alternatively, if you can't manipulate his turn meter in that way, you can let him take turns but then you'll need more shields to replace the ones he rips off or just destroys.

You can only brute force it so much as there is a 1k turn limit.

Does this mean that Rhazin Scarhide is not helpful?

Rhazin could be helpful to debuff the boss and get him down faster, but his turn meter reduction won't be anywhere near enough, if that's what you mean. Way too long cooldown. 

Rhazin goes well in destroy gear since he absolutely smacks and his bit of turn meter and debuffs are nice too

My team on auto last boss . Rhazin was almost in all floors and he was doing his job just fine and i do not have destroy gear on him.

i have 2 built 1 at 60 and 1 at 50 i have 6 from mystery shards and buying from market place so might make 2 more and try copy your post

finally cleared floor 100 had to tweak it a little and found that pushing miscreated monster (Frank) and alure to just over 200 helped a heap 

i ended up running miscreated monster in lead, alure, apothecary, armiger and rhazin

rhaz was more the damage dealer i found as his a1 and a2 smacked scarab king nicely while armiger and alure controlled the turn meter - frank missed alot of turn meter control which was fine with me as it was his shield i needed and apothecary speed buff was able to basically result in the whole team being under shield the whole run.

im no expert etc but just wanted to thank you guys for the tips etc on this post and thought id add what got me over the line - finally lol
