It is not unlikely that you need to spend even more energy to get a greater or superior potion, in some cases you get lucky and get one after the first 1 or 2 fights.

If you can try on lvl 14 and 15, there is 99% you will got greater and superior potions. It hapen that when you need greater you will got superior and oposite. But hey, no complaining you will need through all game bunch of them anyway, so you actualy win and not lose 😉

If you have tons of lesser magic potion, it is wiser to mix them. You may not need a lot lesser magic potion anyway. 

So that was over 30 runs on level 15 and still not a single greater potion!  

Are you on that mission for potions? My tactic was 5x on each lvl starting on lvl 13, like in circles when finished last , start again same . And yes it looks to me to that the drop rate was lower and i did spend a lot of energy and time though, but never give up, soon or later your determination will get pay out.

I see lots of frustration on potions, especially the greater ones.  There is a Table called "Loot Table and Drop Rates", which you can find on ayumilove site. (Don't want to post and be called a scammer). The tables do not necessarily make you feel better but can explain what is happening for the potions.

For L15 Potions, the total odds of getting a greater potion (qty= 1,2,3,4,5) is 23%. But the odds of Lesser are 55% (qty= 7,8,9), and Superior are 12% (qty= 1,2,3). On every level 1-20 there is a 10% chance of a non-potion award like shards and brews.

So you figure that for 30 runs there are decent chances for a greater potion of some quantity but yes sometimes the wind does not blow your way.

Although I can see the numbers like this, I agree that Potion gathering is maybe the biggest scam in the game.

Anyway if others read this, and can find that table for all aspects of the game, and read 'em and weep lol.

Thankfully, Stage 20 exists, where lesser pots cease to exist. 20 is by far the most efficient way to grind out out pots. So yeah, don't farm pots except for Stage 20.
