Ayumi recommends lifesteal gear for almost every hero in dungeons. I understand using it on nukers. But defense, support and HP heroes dont generate as much damage so they heal less with lifesteal. What am I missing?
Or is there an alternative mix of gear other than lifesteal?
Depends on how is your healer situation. If you already have a good AoE healer that can carry the whole team, there's no need for lifesteal.
And other set that can helo heal your champ is I think only immortal set.
Lifesteal is really effective healing against any bosses if you have giant slayer or warmaster mastery, be it dungeon or clan. Usually those will heal most if not your full health.
I used to use ayumi site as a bible for the game, till one day I copied Mastery for a defend champ, surprisingly both of his Mastery ignore defend, even in comment he stated that is his champ Mastery, I re-check some of his champs and feel he is wrong in many cases, more acc for those who do a little or none debuffs, more crit for those who should be support, then now I do Mastery & other upgrades myself.
