Assuming all artifacts are exactly the same, just one set is stalwart, and the other set is lifesteal. Which would be the better option against the CB?

Depends on do you have a healer or not? If no, then lifesteal, if yes and they're good then stalwart.
I only use stalwart on my Skullcrusher in my CB team though, not all of my CB team. The rest is using multiple other sets

What team would you be running? Lifesteal is just the usual go-to set to take advantage of the massive heals that come with WM/GS procs but there are comps that would benefit greatly from Stalwart sets. If you have Bad el Kazar, Stalwart would definitely be great. I think Lilitu-Tyrant-Valk could use some stalwart gear as well. Stalwart would be the better choice if you have someone who can sustain, or put up shields/ minimize damage to your HP which would in turn make Lifesteal sets unnecessary.
I have apothecary but am using him in arena, so putting a mediocre stalwart set on him does not help the CB or the arena. He is a single target heal, but does bring speed boost, so makes him viable if others wear lifesteal?
My CB team is laughable and work in progress. Players use Lifesteal gear on there CB team because it lets there hero stay self sustained.
You can get full heals when ever you do a Warmaster or Giant Slayer Mastery Proc.
This means you don't need a dedicated hero on your team to keep the rest of your team alive.
Players use Stalwart gear on there CB team when they have a dedicated hero.
A dedicated hero is designed to keep your team alive.
You often need a very powerful Healer or Shielding champion on your team to pull this off.
The Healer/Shielder can keep your heroes full health during the fight so you don't need Lifesteal gear.
You can use Stalwart gear to reduce the damage your heroes take from the Clan Boss.
Just to give you an example:
Bad El Kazar is a Legendary Champion people often use in Clan Boss.
Bad El Kazar does very good heals on his A1 + A2.
Bad El Kazar can keep your team alive in the fight by himself.
The goal in Clan Boss is to stay alive for as long as possible.
Most players aim for 50 turns.
If your team stays alive for 50 turns in the fight, You will often put out some very good damage.
Definitely not Frozen. He means Scyl, Grave and MM. Scyl and MM are amazing champs in general, but not so much for CB.Trips said:

My guess is Scyl (cause she is on my CB team), Frozen and Grave.
