after reset you get dropped back to the lowest value of that level, if you get after the reset you can drop a level

so at reset you would've been say 2000 for example then you get hit by someone lose even 4 points your now in the level below effectively dropping you 2 levels

Are you sure you fought more than 20 battles in the previous week? Because if not, the game does indeed drop you not to the bottom of your current tier, but to the bottom of the tier below.
