Ally protection skill bug

I have noticed that usually when two of my heroes do provoke on 2 different foes, each foe attacks the one that has casted provoke on him. Fear should not be different. But in the case with Miscreated monster and Scullcrusher in the enemy team(or any other heroe that has the ally protection skill), Miscreated monster can also get ally protection. Which is o.k. but... when someone attacks the Miscreated monster he gets Fear too. And the ally protection is cast by Scullcrusher. So all who attack the Miscreated monster also get Fear and the skill on him is from Scullcrusher's skill. So it is a bug since the game does not recognise which heroe has casted the ally protection, and it can only be another heroe since the monster can not cast it on itself. Fix it because player are exploiting this bug!

And further more it is a bug because if you read carefully the description of Miscreated monster's ally protection skill, it says that when an ALLY gets hit while under the skill the hitter gets feared, but hitting the monster is fine. But again, the ally protection on Miscreated monster is cast by another heroe wich may have totally different mechanism and in this case it does. A complex description, but with fewer words: when hitting Miscreated monster while it is under ally protection, you should not get Fear on you.

You are wrong. The skill is working exactly as stated.

You are right, the ally protection works as it should. What I missed to explain was about the passive skill of the Miscreated monster - Spooky groan and that it works when the monster is under ally protection casted on him. You shouldn't get fear when you hit him, even if it is under ally protection. You should get fear only when hitting his allies that are under that buff that he has casted.

No. If monster is under ally protection you get fear. Exactly as described. It doesn't say under ally protection by MM.

Yeah but why does provoke work differently then? For example, when 2 different heroes do provoke on 2 defferent foes, each foe attacks the hero that casted provoke on him. In this case the skill mechanism of one hero, effects the same hero and it shouldn't because the skill description of MM and Skullcrusher are very different. The first one does fear, the second one doesn't.

You're missing the point - MM's passive states 'Places a [Fear] debuff on the attacker for 1 turn whenever an ally is attacked while under an [Ally Protection] buff.' This is an entirely separate skill from his A3 which puts ally protect - that A3 mentions nothing about Fear.

So there's no reason why the ally protection buff referred to in that passive skill has to be the one that MM puts with his A3. If MM never uses his A3 and never puts any Ally Protection at all, but Skullcrusher does, then MM's passive will still work based on SC's ally protect, as it should.

Ok, this makes kinda sence but still, having in mind that the passive is on MM, by ally I refer more to all other 3 ally heroes, than the MM himself, coz if it was the opposite the ally protection skill should have been on MM too.  Just saying...L9753 said:
