I'm not running warm for the new arena mode and ranking system either.

I have won 5x3 battles today, but barely 7 hours into the reset period it is already abundantly clear, that I will not be going up (sitting at 1128/2104 in yellow now) as the bar to reach green goes up a  lot faster than I can/will ever gain points.

Yeah.....they should rename the feature "Whale Watching Expedition". That's basically what it is. As many predicted, the same problems with classic arena are going to plague 3v3 until Plarium decides to do something about matchmaking.

Those of us working from dry land or are new are struggling just to put one team together for arena. Now we need to have three teams. Not going to happen any time soon. So far the only win I've had was some poor player that has it worse off than me on champion choices.

Of course at some point it will be mandatory. Not sure what the bazaar rewards are yet, but most likely it will be needed for progression - so yet another imbalanced PvP system we have to struggle in to get anywhere.

I'm still standing my ground in that I will not spend any more money on this game until classic arena gets fixed so I can progress my mission and GH. Odds are pretty good that I will burn out and stop playing before I can build a strong enough team to get anywhere with the current matchmaking BS. The grind to get a single champ to level 60 is pretty annoying, and then you have to factor in gear and mastery. 

Grinding is only tolerable to a point. There is a point where the payoff doesn't equal the effort and the game stops being fun. Video games depend on people having fun playing them. And while as a company Plarium should absolutely try to make a profit on their product, both the long term health and profitability of your venture depend on people sticking around.

It's quite funny its another event with died straight after release, first of all, was a tournament with only rare champs now this in my clan like half of the people already decided not to bother with this arena thing if you can't get any reword it's bit pointless to play. will see how quick they will turn around this time. I assume then whales reach top tear mid-tiers will be empty or full of abundant accounts same as in the classic arena.

Interesting how all events or new things if you can call this arena new its's just for 10% of all players....

Yes you get 5 a day and have to buy rest of the first reset is 15 gems next one is 40 and after 80 and so on 

Yeah shop is not open  

So basically for a couple weeks the vast majority of people will not advance a tier. Not really too interesting.
