What speed lvl could be considered good in Arena?

I'm a relatively new player, and my Arena Team Leader is a lvl 60, fully ascended, full masteries High Khatun, with 200 speed, aura considered.
Nonetheless, an opponent's 4 stars High Khatun, lvl 40, not even fully ascended, was able to attack me first...

How can this be possible? What a good speed level should really be?

Thanks for your hints.

What tier are you in? Pretty impossible to answer your question otherwise. Even in lower tiers there will be some extremely fast teams with 230 or 240 speed here and there, in higher tiers most teams will have that or more. In platinum I understand you need well above 300 to compete.

I have 2 accounts and have been playing for around 100 days on the first. I hit Gold 4 after about 40 odd days with a Gorgorab speed lead at 225 and apothecary for further turn meter boost at 238 or so. That changed about 2 weeks ago where the arena seemed to get much harder so I’ve added a banner to apothecary to push him to 258 but still get out sped pretty regularly in gold 3.

If you want to farm G4 and stay there at the bottom it’s looking like you’d need about 280-290 speed on your turn meter champ to consistently get the first round of attacks if you were running a nuke comp.

I honestly have no idea what changes were made to the arena during that update but the matchups and requirements got exponentially harder from bottom G4 down.

Use your free daily login reward High Khatun as the lead, unless you have someone better. She doesn't even need to be level 60 or booked.

Edit: I accidentally hit the Post button.

Get her 3x Speed set, and as much extra speed as you can. You usually only need her to get the edge at the start, if the other three are well built.

I cannot speak for Gold tiers, but for Silver it works for me.

You're absolutely right, sorry. At the moment I'm floating between B3 and S1. It's still beyond me how a hero 2 star below mine could out speed me. It just doesn't add up...

The speed is based on the gear not whether the hero is 40, 50 or 60.  200 before the aura is probably average for mid-silver, as that is a fairly low hurdle to hit.

I have 334 speed champion, before speed aura, which can comfortably outspeed most in high gold4 arena. In platinum, a lot have much higher speed than mine.

My other one with 308 speed, is good in the lower half of gold4 but not in the higher half.

So, I assume at gold 3 your target for your turnmeter booster is around 280

In gold2 at least 250.

And of course, this does not mean you can outspeed anyone by reaching these numbers in your rank. There could be some players with platinum level gears lurking in lower ranks.

speed helps alot byut not the only tactic for the arena, you may have a block team, revive team etc, debuff team. Sure speed helps but not the only tactic.

Unfortunately, it's the only tactic. Especially if your opponent have choices of champs. Specially in higher tiers of the arena. Who starts first 90% win chance. Check platinum all of them got speed champs as lead.
