Avenging vs Retaliation
Should i be using an Avenging set for Arena based champions instead of Retaliation? I will soon by in Gold 1.

First of all, I would suggest (again and again) to prioritize final stats over almost any sets, with very few exception, mostly too nishe to be mentioned here.
About those two sets, it seems that there is some sort of consensus among player base that Ret Set is slightly more useful generaly.

Daering is right: stats > sets
I prefer avenging set in the arena. :)
