No, he became available on 8/4/2020, for a period of 4 weeks or so, so now you're about a week too late. 8/4/2020 means April 8th of course, not August 4th.
Fairness? Lol. prolly a blessing since that Champ is terrible, but now I have 4 worthless, not 1. See if i spend any more money on this pos game.

Whether he's worth it or not is another question - so far, his skills don't look impressive but his base stats are ridiculously good (massive HP, accuracy and resistance, high speed and decent on both attack and defense). Odds are his skills will still get reworked at some point - though not too much or he'd become insanely OP considering those stats. But indeed, it required a massive and very tedious grind and you would have very little to show for it if you don't manage to finish in time since the intermediate Drakes are quite poor, so I didn't bother with it.
When I say fairness, I'm talking about their communication about the limited time available for the fusion and how clear they made the deadline. In those regards I think they were always quite clear. It's not their fault if you somehow misread the initial communications and then never bothered to check again for a whole month... even though you must have gone to that fusion screen to fuse your Skullsworns into Drakes?

Lol it literally told you on the fusion screen how much time you had. And the second mistake is you spent money to fuse a worthless hero.
