top question for the arena battles!!

How can we find out which is the first move our heroes make in the arena? every each of them? (in auto fights)

for example, i used gorgorab and start with the second move , as first move when play in arena fights.

but when i used dragomorph starts with the thrird move as first.

Or you test them before you put all that effort into them? I very much doubt the AI skill selection would change just because you've put gear and masteries on them.

Though if we're talking only about arena, have to say I fight all arena battles manually anyway, not sure why you'd care about how it works on auto. It's not like campaign and dungeons where you want the AI to function right on auto so you can do multi-battles, or the CB which takes a lot longer so you may not want to take the time for manual.

yes, you have right here but first you learn how the defence team works alone and if i don't have time to play -because i'm on the way for example- i play in auto so i must know how the team works and what combination can do.

from the answers i underastand that we don't know how every hero works and we must try, unless the plarium has a guide somewhere to read it.   if any moderator knew something more please tell us.

Im some cases, stats affect how ai chooses which skill to use first. Example of this, the arena exploit that was shown by some youtubers where enemy's turnmeter booster champion attacks a level 1 rare champion instead of using turnmeter boost skill first.

And also, Rhazin in spider dungeon, if he has low speed he will use his decrease turnmeter first, if his speed is high enough to move twice before the boss, he will use his 2nd skill first.

Interesting. Does this still work? Lol

if this is right then AI choose the moves all the time in auto mode.....then....we must play in manual almost all the time.

There some variables here. Not every champion act the same way on every situation. It depends of many things and some of them you have to  learn it by yourself.

Rhazin, for example, will start with his A3 on every Spider exept on spirit affinity, when he starts with his A2. That's the case when he is first or there are no debuffs on Spider.

Seer will start with her A3 when there is enough buffs on your and enemy turn or most likely will start with her A2.

Kymar starts always with A3, even there is no friendly skill to be resset.

Just some examples. How some champions may behave on auto is task, that lays on your shoulder. Even if you get some info from inet, there may be some specific, that is related only to your team composition.

For me setting up teams to play properly on auto in every content is part of the fun. Not fighting broken AI itself is fun, but overcome it. I play 9/10 battles on auto and almost never bother to switch on manual.

It's extremely complicated. Even with a simple case, it is not known.

For example: 4 level 60s vs. 1 level 1.  Willl the first character just attack and win, or buff the others?  The pattern is not clear.

I notice warmaiden will attack with a2 when only one opponent, instead of a3 to decrease def

Jinglehunter I can't figure out. Sometimes aoe a3 for TM redduce, sometimes goes for A2 kill/freeze but doesn't always choose wisely. On alt I am running spirithost 40 > wm 45/60 > jinglehunter 60 > kael 60. Only winning 70pct in s2/s3. Wonder if I should make jinglehunter fastest to go 1st

On main, miscreated monster I can't figure out his AI at all.

MM on my account starts always with stun/shield, but most of the time my Draco have enemy already debuffed. Not sure this affects him as he start that way on Spider too, so.... he works that way for me.

I don't usually go 1st in arena. But when I do he always does that 1st. It's the use of heal/ally protect A2 during longer battles that is inconsistent or just bad at times

Run your Arena Team on Auto in Campaign or Minotaur - 10x times

See how it normally functions.

You can't choose the order for your champions' skills, because it depends on the AI. Devs decide the order. ;)
