I have athel 5*, and 4* executioner, bellowed, crimson helm, jizoh and apothecary. I'm still working on maxing then out and getting the optimum gear for them.
Not sure wether these are any good any advice would be great.

Apo, Belower and CR. H. are good champs. Apo is great overall, other two are useful here and there, but not really top tier by any means.
Apothecary is better than half the epics in the game.
Crimson helm can do work.
There is no epic that has a 100% chance to try and place a 25% weaken debuff, however, Athel a rare does. You will use her in fireknights and faction wars for a long time.
In gold 4, you see a lot of apothecary and some bellower. Bellower can be used to clear waves in most dungeons as well.

Are you sure you didnt mean apohecary is better than half the legendaries? Because if he was an epic id say he were the best epic in the game.

No, I meant epics. In my opinion, and again it's only opinion, but there are at least 10 epics better than him. You see him more because people get a lot more of him than they do any specific epic and booking him, ascending him is easier. At least that is my opinion.
