You can't ask to remove duplicates from the pull. There are some champions that are good to be pulled more than once, like Royal Guard, Skullcrown, Hegemon... just an example.

Any insight on this? Is it just for legos. I have one book left to do last gorgorab skill upgrade. But also have a duplicate gorgorab 

duplicates to increase champions lvls is not a good idea...then u have absolut no chance against wales which have 1-5 duplicates of good champs. 

So far I have:

 4 duplicates of 7 rears,

 3 duplicates of 12 rears,

 2 duplicates of  22 rears,

 2  duplicates of 2 epics.

These are only the ones that I have not used for upgrading skills.

With the latest patch at least the ones used for fusion are marked, but what do you guys do with your duplicate rares and epics that you can not use for upgrading skills or in battles?

For 5 months playing the game, I have not had the change to summon a legendary yet. I only use the orange shards during double summon events, but still no luck.

Any additional info on WHEN duplicates will be addressed?? For over a year we've been told "its coming, its coming"  and "They'll implement a new function for the dupe legos in the next patches." and we have yet to see anything. As of 2.1 there is zero mention of whats being done about the duplicates.
