Masteries grind...

I's kind of ridiculous how the mastery system is setup. The fact that you have to do it for EACH champion makes no sense at all.

I play another game that has masteries and it goes one set for all champions and you can reset (at an in game cost) to other sets.

This endless mindless grind is overkill.

I recommend the 800 gem approach.

Hi there, raider!

While I have no specific solution to this, I would like to point out that resetting Masteries is, in fact, a thing!

The first reset on a champion is free, after that it'll cost 150 Gems.

Regarding the process, you could make a suggestion about it?

Hope I helped!

This may sound strange, but I somehow enjoy the mastery gring process (yes, autoclick really helps here), it gives me feeling of advanceing my champions, watching him get better and more successful do gives me some sort of joy.

The reset part is what triggers me. Even without making mistakes it is way too restricting to not be able to reset masteries when you start to use your champion in different content or just want to try different build.

You already spend 800 gems or 100's of energy and hours gringing mastery, you already...hm, how to put this... earned the right to manage them the way you see fit.

Marvel Contest of Champions.  Believe me that game has it's own issues though, but their approach was better IMO

Tank you.

I know the first reset is free (I've had to do it), bu that'snot the point. It's repeating the grind for every champ, when I could use my energy to farm gear or food that' annoying and unnecessary.

only spend a little on this game.  800 gems is too steep for each champion for me.

upgrade your gem mine, do daily quests and stuff. you'll get those gems in time then. No worries.

It's how I did it and I've spent gems to get all mastery scrolls for 5 champions so far.

Hi, Guys!

Thanks for your feedback. :)

I agree with Daering, masteries are part of the grinding of this game and I really like it. Of course, autoclicker helps a lot, but if you farm stage 15, it will take 3-4 days. I don't think this is too much time, the bonuses you can choose for your champions are really helpful and there are several build you can create for dungeons/clan boss/arena.

not the first time through with 5 champions you're building up.  I've been doing this for a couple of weeks now.

i'll see when i do either miscreated monster or coldheart next.

I didn't spend a dime until this week when I got the BP. I used gems in a variety of places in the beginning but started saving them after that. My original 5 are still slowly going through the grind, but I've used gems on 3 to full masteries and almost have enough for a 4th. I highly recommend saving them up.

The 800 gem investment works best when you don't have many maxed champions and you want to focus on specific one and want to max his mastery fast. Later on, when you have already 3 (if you can do Mino with 4 or less champs) or 4 maxed champions, I think is more beneficial to just farm. It will take around 2, 3 or 4 days depends of what time you spend in game, will cost you less gems even if you constantly refill energy and you will end up with extra silver from those runs (not sure, probably less that 1m? Never really bothered to count the approximated amount).

Of course, if you are flooded with gems and you are inpatient, 800 gem will go the job. :)

"I really like it".

"I automate the process".

Oh, the irony.

I don't usually use autoclicker, but I had to use it twice: once to complete the masteries for Rhazin in 24h and once when I wanted to win a tournament.

I like grinding, that's all.

Daering, you are correct. That's why I utilize a combo approach. My original 5 are still in the grind process since they are at varying stages(t3 to t5) but as I added solid epics along the way I used gems (skullcrusher for example). Now that I have 3 with full masteries, maybe 4? It makes more sense for me to finish off the rest in mino15. But I'm closing in on another 800 gems so I may do one more with gems. Lack of patience:)

I see it like optimal balance between reasoning and enjoyment.

I was so stuck and upset with the FK progress mission that when I pulled out Alure, I made her 6/60 for two evenings, bought all the masters and kicked the FK's fiery ass. It gave me great pleasure and I did not regret for a moment paying 800 gem for her.

Yes, I did same after you mentioned that before! She is perfect for FK. I was hoping she would be more useful on Spider. She may still be, but I have so many holes to fill to progress there that I need to 1) upgrade my current gear 2) wait for 2x shard events and see what I can pull 3) farm gold medals and figure out how to prioritize great hall upgrades.

Doing #3 is great, because it has broad impact short and long-term.

wow people find mino grind fun? silly people

I have over 50 60s maxed and I still cant stand the grind, I think mino takes way too many resources, time and just flat out annoying. I started spending the 800 gems which is still too much.

Most of us think like you, but it's not about liking the process, it's about enjoying the result.
