Energy

Hi,

Currently im level 51, that is 121 energy, regarding that I am working on the mornings and evenings I just can play on the nights, so my maximum of energy per day is 363 (I am including the energy restores after 1h played and the 5 fights in the arena) now let's say I am farming stage 13 dragon's lair which you need a total of 14 per run, so my maximum of fights per day are 25'9, of those ones let's say in 2 the game crush, a total of "24" per day.

My question is the next, why plarium is stopping me to play their game? Why would I pay just to get a few restores and run out again shortly?

Please decrease the amount of energy needed to play your game, would this unbalanced your game plarium?

You created a game called RAID, so now let people play your game with little bit more of freedom.

( Sorry for my English )

Thanks

Energy has a limit because without it, peolpe would play h24 uninterruptedly. This game would become a "drug" to a lot of players, that's why there's a limit.

Of course it also increases the game difficulty, so players can't get everything right away.

I agreed energy should have some limit. But we need more energy. 720 energy / day is not enough. During the tournament i'm always used all the energy to grinding + spent some gem for refill. This really caused a big trouble. Because there are no energy left to farming potion / scroll.

Moderator always saying event just optional, it's ok to skipped it. It's all lie and not true. If we skipped the event how we can get legendary / epic skill books ?

I think monthly / weekly quest need some adjustment. Some quest should become repeatable so players can get multiple energy refill rewards.

I've never said you should skip events. Events are really important and everyone should complete them, but when you're doing an event you can't think to focus on mino/potions or other stuff. When you're doing an event, you HAVE to do only that event. If you can't wait for that stuff, just buy refills.

How can I even complete a single event or a tournament if I am requiring 2500 points for a epic book and the average points per fights is between 8 or 16, let say 12 on the middle, that is an amount of 208 battles completed. I have to buy 20-30-40 refills?

Are we crazy?

I didn't say to don't have a limit, of course we have to have a limit but not that high. Just decreasing a little bit the numbers of energy EVERY SINGLE person playing raid will be happy with that

So two separate issues:

Limits on energy make it hard to "complete" events? Working as intended - it shouldn't be easy to complete events.

Too hard to get skill books? A real issue - and baffling that the developers seem to be making it harder to get them. But the answer isn't more energy/making events easier.

dragon tournament example as running now:

stage 20:  cost 16 energy and gives 16 up to 25 points (5* rare - 6* leg)

2500 points is less than 2500 energy spent - even including off chance for ancient shard once in a while (you WILL have some better drops than 5* rare )

2500 / 720 =~ 3,5 days worth of energy counting you will always get 5* rare drop (AKA worst case scenario - I would estimate 3 days of free energy should be enough with realistic chances)

you can always keep monthly (and possibly weekly refills) untill such event arrives,

I am at 2500 points in dragon just now - spending absolutely NO gems on refills:

- lucky enough to end weekly quest yesterday - 2 refills from previous week stored and pulled now just to reset mission, 2 from new week pulled for completion)

- pulled 250 monthly energy in this event

- stored energy from past summoning event rewards to be pulled in tournament (rewards for events are available for next 24h after event ends ... just plan ahead)

sure it might not be sustainable tactic but every now and then, if you conserve energy rewards / refills and pop them to be used all on single event / tournament it is not that bad

I would only argue sth else here:

If you can reliably complete stage 20 of tournament dungeon you do not really need rare book (sure you still do,but leg would be more appropriate as endgame).

if / 720 = (length of event in days -1) it should give leg book. Epic would be OK for 1 day longer time-frame and same points needed.

Easy yes, everyone can do dragon 20 yeah? And everyone can play 24 hours per day to use all the energy possible

This is a great example of Energy budgeting. Remember though that shards do not count as points if they are gotten and neither do brews so allow a little ofer budgeting for thos drops. I myself tend to look at the over all prizes and try to figure if I can pass on it or go for it.

yes, but you do not always get 5* rare (2x 6* leg drops are enough to offset one shard giving no points at all, no brews in loot table on stage 20).

Either way, as f2p you must play against the system if you hope to make anything reasonable out of it.

Either spend all saved refills / energy rewards on single event / tournament and get top reward, or do not bother with the event at all and keep energy / refills for as long as possible without letting them expire in hopes that next event might be doable with good rewards ...

your absolutly right! This is why I try to decide if an event is good for me to do or not. So I may skip one, store some energy (Missing a book) But I wont be so strung out for the next one. Its all about deciding what events you want to do and how much your willing to spend in time and money.

lol. i skip almost all events, but these last events were good to me. im running 20 dungeons alot for gear so these extra tournaments gave me really good relentless gear to go with my whisper..

and i have harvest jack which i felt like drained all my resources when i only decided to go for the fusion when i saw i had 3 out of 4 epics lol.

skipped all other fusions which made me feel underpowered in arena and very good outside the game. don't let this game play you, you are the one in control.

also, like said before. energy management is very easy, i say you could easily press replay a couple times a day while you have your phone in your pocket. i do it all the time, and when it says u need refill. just exit game and let it refresh.. ezpz lmn sqz

I also found that doing missions and completeing quests etc was a great supply of energy when I needed it. I plan it out so I can get the extra energy durring the events I feel are worth doing. Just got 1K energy from completeing the missions for artifacts and I still have 2 levels to go.

So couple things, the energy cost, quantity and refill time I dont feel limit play. Mostly because the second i run out i am offered to buy more. So i dont believe the intention is to prevent addiction. maybe encourage it because it can be bought. To add further to this, most events require more than the standard capacity and refill potential of energy. This means it is in the game with the purpose to run out and be purchased. The intent may be to limit  players but it more encourages spending or people to make posts like this pointing it out.

2, not all events should be completed. Going back to the previous comment about lack of energy to complete. Additionally I have seen mods post events were made not to be completed. It's better to say pick and choose your battles. I think I finish 1/20 of the events and only do fusions if I have the majority of rares required. So if the events were easier I'd say the energy might be sufficient if a casual player can complete any without having to stockpile like the world is about to end.

Back to energy, it is too limiting and I feel more compelled to buy rather than the game saying "take a break while your heroes rest". So I almost feel this makes the game a drug rather than the free play. Additionally unrestricting play time games tend to have more people take breaks after the "honeymoon" phase of discovering the game. Not saying this game should have no limits just feels more like we are wanted to pay to play.
