I would have preferred if Plarium did a take on the 12 days of Christmas song as gifts.  

If you log in between Dec 14th and Dec 25th you could receive daily gifts along the lines of:

• Dec 14 - On the 1st day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 1 Sacred Shard (something big to kick it off and get folks started)
• Dec 15 - On the 2nd day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 2 Void Shards (great gesture for the crazy hard fusion)
• Dec 16 - On the 3rd day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 3 3-day XP boosts (9 days total of XP boost)
  
• Dec 17 - On the 4th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 4 Ancient Shards
• Dec 18 - On the 5th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 5 Magic Potions (2 lesser, 2 greater, 1 superior)
• Dec 19 - On the 6th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 6 Magic Brews
• Dec 20 - On the 7th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 7 Spirit Potions (4 lesser, 2 greater, 1 superior)
• Dec 21 - On the 8th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 8 Spirit Brews
• Dec 22 - On the 9th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 9 Force Potions (5 lesser, 3 greater, 1 superior)
• Dec 23 - On the 10th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 10 Force Brews
• Dec 24 - On the 11th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 11 Void Potions (6 lesser, 3 greater, 2 superior)
• Dec 25 - On the 12th day of Christmas, Plarium gives to thee - 12 Void Brews
  

I weighted the Void to the end to help give a good push towards the Tormin fusion event.  And for New Years Day I would gift all active accounts a 7-day free trail Raid Card to get folks started right going into 2020.

What we got was a "chuck on the shoulder" kind of gift - sort of a "hey man, thanks", but not a real gift in my opinion.
