if u are f2p as me u will use gems just to buy energy
from first 500 gems, u will upgrade mine on lvl 2 and that is it
save gems for events/tournaments like this what we have today when u are strong to farm minimum dragon 13
save all gems and open just on x2
this game is all about saving BCS is not f2p friendly so u must be smart and patient

omg u are rly smart 1k energy? for this 10 month in-game, I never bought more than 130 or u lose energy...
and no point to spend 320 gems for just gear as f2p we cannot afford that pleasure

I just make a comparison between spent 800 gem to unlock all masteries and do it manually with auto clicker. Of course we gonna lose some energy refill but it will save a lot of times. Grinding scroll is very boring.
To clear stage 15 minotaur i need 1 minutes 20 second or around 40x battle in 1 hours. Which is means in 1 hours i can consumes 14 energy x 40 = 560 with auto clicker. If i buy 1000+ energy i'm only lose probably 40 energy for 2 hours refill. And i'm very sure everydays i lose ~20 energy refill because i sleep more 7-8 hours.
