I have noticed that Mr. Ivy lost mod status so it might not carry same weight now as it did when I posted this thread initially but half a year later 'new ways to to utilize dupes' is still 'will be implemented some day'

This reinforces my initial idea about this statement being simple PR stunt: 'keep calm and give us money'.

Please prove me wrong ...

I mean honestly i see dupe champions as ways to have different teams with champs that are good at more then one thing.

So like if a champ is great at arena and CB, you would need different gear sets and masteries to do both things, which you couldn't realistically do, but with dupes it can be done with ease.

So while there are not activities we can do that will only make use of dupe champs, there are uses in the game for them.
