So will Plarium give us any info on Titus Blackplume's A2 scaling off shields?

Just today Boozor has already tested him, in a fairly un-optimized team, using the shield growth mechanic to do massive damage to Hydra. Are we going to receive any communication regarding the nerf to this mechanic or not.

Sure, about 3 weeks from now, after everyone has built a hydra and chimera team around using it, they'll nerf it into oblivion and then let us know a day or so later

*Just like last time*

The ***ONLY*** possible way that could be true is if they plan to nerf wixwell into complete uselessness

IDK, I dont see what he does that breaks the game in a way it isn't already broken so that he would need a nerf.

They will never answer this question, but if it is acceptable for Titus to be this broken, then why the H, did they nerf all previous broken shield comps?

They nerfed Emic before it could even become a thing, which is what I expected them to do here.

Just idiocy.

"Shields are capped now" was one of the things mentioned.  But again I just dont see the massive damage being that big an issue.

Regular CB - irrelevant

Chimera - Big damage will help people 1 key but its a very low trial team which are more important for relics.

Hydra - Only spot I could see maybe an issue but the damage will still be behind Trunda and I think it'll be good for the game for people to have some fun their again.

The problem is that players won't trust them to not nerf a shield explosion Hydra comp because they repeatedly said they would not nerf the Wixica comp, when it was a viable competitor to Trunda, then months later, they nerfed the Wixica comp, while making Trunda a little harder to use, but capable of being even more OP than before....

I have bad feelings on how this ends but hopefully I'm wrong. 🙈

Can't blame them.  Plarium burned that bridge long ago.

I will give the rest of you time to build Titus and then watch him nerfed back into the vault.

This is a chance for the new management to prove they wont lie to the players.  Who is making odds on this being another nerf lie?

I'm betting if they said they wont nerf Titus, they won't.

They'll wait maybe 2 weeks, then nerf Wixwell.

There will be a nerf of some sort, most likely a cap on the shield damage bonus like Corpulent's:

"The additional damage is equal to 30% of the value of the [Shield] and cannot exceed 200,000"

That sort of thing. Now from a purely business aspect, they have NO reason to admit to the nerf until AFTER the Fusion has ended. Right now everyone believes this is a MUST FUSE (and it is for most accounts) so spending is gonna be active. I mean 2 Summon Rushes with the 2nd one being with the bonus fragments?

Plus we know that the final Champion Chase event will likely overlap with points for the Path Event for the Soul, more spending go go!

Then halfway thru the Path event, this will be the announcement:

"We discovered an issue with the scaling of Titus's A2 Ability"

Maybe we should start calling Titus "NFT" instead

Plarium claims it is "unfair" for a champ to be OP.  I disagree.  We all have a chance to get any champ.  If our planning or luck are faulty we lag behind.  I dont see that being a problem either.  There are winners and losers in life.  A company that is a casino understands winning and losing.

Changing the rules after the cards have been dealt is my big issue.  They cant do that in a real casino.  They can only do that with an online game.

After the Wixwell hydra nerf I lost interest in the game.  I did the dailies and hoarded resources.  I gave up on trying to advance.  Recently, I began trying to advance.  If they hit the NERF button again I might take a long break.

NERF seems to be a business decision.  They put out champs that are OP and then NERF them.  We all spend time and resources chasing and gearing them only to be left with nothing.  That is whats "unfair".

There are lots of champs that are OP, that's what drives shard sales

It's only a problem if it's a champ most people are able to get without spending.

😜

But it IS absolutely nuts that they'd release yet another champ who gets insanely strong from shield growth after the last 4 times it "needed to be addressed"
