Background battles are something I've wanted for quite some time, so happy there.
QB for hydra tbh probably isn't gonna affect me personally, I manual to get the most I can out of it, but it's a HUGE benefit for a lot of my clustermates who just struggle to find the time.
I *love* the idea of the mini-missions/accomplishments DURING the chimera fight to get ...materials? Not crazy about having *another* cvc clash, but we'll see how it goes.
Relics/gemstones: I think it's a *terrible* idea to introduce yet another layer of rng gatcha which will just massively widen the power gap between f2p and whales, *especially* since theres been so much focus put into pvp with clash, siege and arena.
Mixed feelings
I think the QOL life changes could be good, like the idea of background battles, like the idea of raid campaign ultra settings and if hydra instant battles works well then it could save a lot of time. I am neutral on arena changes
Relics is a definite negative for me, i understand the desire for new content but it is yet another layer of RNG to building a champ, we already have the RNG of getting a decent item from forge/dungeon/hydra/siege etc, then the RNG of rolling it, then the RNG of ascending it (and i have 10+ attempts to get the ascention i want on some pieces). I would have preferred the effort going into a fun zone with perhaps a fun set to collect.
And what's your response? Inquiring minds and such...
TBH, I still have not watched the video. I am at a tipping point for Raid, and I am seriously frustrated that they keep driving more content w/o fixing the things that they have recently broken that need to be addressed.
Auto-Complete Hydra will not save me any time because I run my Hydra battles on Manual because the AI is still too stupid to trust.
Background multi-battles will certainly be a good add.
I really enjoy Siege and work hard to keep my clan organized for it. However, the recent change to leave Defense teams posted is a disaster, and the continued failure to introduce communication tools is a big fat FAIL.
Normally, I would be excited for the challenge of solving the puzzle of a new clan boss. However, right now, I cannot imagine spending another ounce of time, energy & thought than I already do....because Plarium seems to continually make things harder, instead of easier.
Time has been the number one problem for two years, and it has only gotten worse. I am probably as close to quitting as I have ever been.
And compounding all of that, I have not pulled a toon worth building in at least 9 months. If it weren't for the strong fusions, I would've had literally nothing to build.
So, cazy as it sounds, I am still spending a stupid amount of time on Raid, but I am finding that I enjoy it less and less, and feel frustrated more & more...and if that continues much longer, I will probably tip...

I am at the point where I see it as changing that gap from the size of the grand canyon to twice that... oh well.
I cringed at the mythical power creep, but it is what it is... f2p are just along for the ride.
Note: I haven't looked at any videos so don't really know anything about the changes
I am not a min/max type person in this game. I like the QOL changes because I simply ignore a chunk of content because it isn't fun and I have better things to do. If I can do those in the background or quickly without any real time expense or effort, all the better.
To be honest Raid really needed to just focus on improving the game and not adding new content for a while. I am glad they are doing this QOL stuff. I would rather they had made the old content more interresting than added new content because I don't need new things to do in this game.
Also we have no idea when each of these changes are coming or if they will ever truely arrive.
Figured I would take one for the team and just hit some lower difficulty to help start getting the later ones opened. I used a very f2p friendly comp *sarcasm. The lower tiers will definitely be easy enough it seems, I just full auto bith keys a single time as I dont care to really go hard week one and will wait to see what teams/strategies come out over next few weeks before bothering to gear proper teams for it.
Iam however really looking forward to a daily quest to use a Chimera key.
Credit where it's due - this is actually pretty interesting. Gonna be fun to see just how many of those quests I can do while still staying alive. Latest try gave me 13 completed, using Duchess, Mikage, Lydia, Gnut, and Gwyndolin, 100M dmg / 420M pts.
Also appreciate that the fight is concise - two shots on each head and then done.
My only issue is the Tutorial with Arbiter seems to make you think you HAVE to hit Normal with your first key, even if it's defeated.
I was hoping we'd get 2 keys a day or something, but now I feel bad because my clan could have unlocked Nightmare this week if I hadn't hit Normal with my first key...

Like all other tutorials, I skipped the tutorial until it forced me to do it, which for this one was when I opened the CB tab. And then I hit X every screen to close it on each page until it finally let me close.
I was on to run 2 instant CB runs for half a minute then close the game, not to spend an hour trying out a new boss. Smh.
Sorry you hit Normal and cashed it in. :(

Well, being out of keys means you won't get the daily at least. With Hydra and Chimera keys both on it, my daily advanced quest completion is going to sink even lower than ever before. Haha.
