Chat Ban Feature is broken!
A player in Channel 244 was upset because he got attacked by a player 2 tiers below him.
The player in question was upset because his arena team lost in the fight vs. the player 2 tiers below him.
The player in question proceeded to go on a rant asking questions to the global chat in frustration.
The question was "How is it possible to get attacked by someone in a tier or 2 below your tier in Arena?"
I told him it is possible because sometimes players get put on a person list as a "Challenge" Battle.
Normally, I have found from my experience that the person at the very bottom of your arena list can sometimes be in a tier or 2 higher.
They often have very strong team as well.
Anyway, continuing with the story, The person begins to get upset because he feels like he shouldn't have lost.
He feels like his arena team is good.
He feels like his team shouldn't be losing to other people 2 tiers below him.
So guess what I do?
I make the mistake of looking at this guys arena defense team!
I saw the following team:
The team he is using isn't ideal.
I told him - He should make some improvements.
The player has 2 different Healers (BEK & Vrask) + 1 Disrupting hero (Templar) + 1 Single Target HP hero (Ifirit)
The team isn't good.
I told this player he should take out Vrask + Ifirit.
BEK is a very good healer - He doesn't need Vrask in with him.
Irfit isn't that great as an attacker - He should switch out to get a better AOE DPS Defense Hero
Now I have played this game for months.
-I am level 60.
-I am in Gold 4 Arena.
-I have helped people on Arena Discord make better teams.
-I have watched every Arena Youtube Video I found.
-I have read every Reddit or Vlog Arena Guide there is.
-I have created my own Beginner Friendly Arena Defense Guide.
When it comes to making an Arena set up, I am just very good at it.
So I tried to help this guy make a set up.
Obviously, The player is trying to make a tanky / defensive set up.
People do make Defensive set ups in Arena.
If you play the game long enough + do your research, You will see these set ups running around in arena.
Now if you think speed - attack sets ups are better vs. resist - defense set ups - Than so be it.
I'm not here to argument which set up is better.
I am simply saying I have seen both types of sets ups.
I have been beat by both types of sets ups.
The above player is obviously going for a Defense set up.
The defensive arena teams he currently has isn't ideal.
Defense + Resist set ups have there own fundamental designs.
So I was trying to explain all of that to the above guy who is level 40.
Well you will not believe what happens next.
The level 40 player above starts cussing me out.
He starts saying I don't have clue what I'm talking about.
He calls me a Clown!
-He is cussing me out.
-He is calling me names.
-He says I don't know what I am talking about.
-He says his team can't be beat even though he just lost to a player in bronze tier 2 tiers below his tier.
-I never cussed at this person.
-I never was angry.
-I never typed in caps lock.
-I was common & collective trying to help this person out the entire time!
Now here is what is going to throw you for a total loop which is why I am here today sharing this amazing story.
I am chat ban, until 11-13.
What terms of service violation did I commit?
I honestly don't even know!
I think it is Astonishing.
They ban the wrong person.
The other person is the one who should have been banned.
I never said a single cuss word.
