Is it at all possible to add special characters to your name in the current version of the game?

My clan has a ™ symbol in the name and we all would like to add it to our in-game name, but HTML code that was used up to about a year ago no longer works. Tried copy/paste, that doesn't work either. I wrote a support ticket to Plarium about this time last year, and they said something along the lines of "it's complicated, it will take a lot of time, etc." and no word since. I have a nasty suspiction they just swept it under the rug. Can at least some of you mods ask the devs what is at play here, why doesn't it work and are they planning to fix it at all?
