Gems for blue shards is a perfectly acceptable use for them. Masteries are fine too. I would avoid using them for energy and especially for silver if you can, since that tends to be the lowest roi.

But as far as using the blue shards or mastery purchases - just do them properly. Shards only during fusions, and masteries only for champs you're sure you're going to use.

I recall now you have said shards for fusion.  Does Plarium do regular "blow a bunch of shards" events that specifically gets you new fusion as they release?  I am unsure of what you mean.

Every month, give or take, there are events that ultimately yield a lego champ. Two of the events are champion chase and summon rush, both of which involve pulling shards.

Interesting.  I will have to keep eyes peeled, then.  So far, I've popped every shard to build holdings, but I'ma gonna slow that down to build more fully now what I have before pushing for more.  Thanks!

I do recommend maxing out sparring pit. It's an investment that will save you a ton of energy for leveling chickens long term

Hi, I use my gems to get the big shard pack. As a low spender I find that with the gems from tasks etc, you can hit mercy once a month or so. To my mind I feel this is the best use of gems, beats me why content creators don't reccomend this. Still they tend to be high spenders so getting high level champs isn't their priority, whereas masteries would be. Trick is to play the game the best for you.

I'd say spending gems on ancients is terrible... lack of champs is rarely the issue.  Gear is always the differentaior.  Most likely you will need gems to complete fusions and for energy to get masteries in mino15.
