Seems I am blocked from getting the Lego book or am I missing something?

There is actually one extra key, but you used them in the wrong order. You needed to unlock the 2nd lego book (which guards the last two keys) before claiming the 5S awakening, so yes, you are now locked out of the 2nd lego book.
