I'm just really puzzled by the timing.

Probably since we are now on what the 4th rotation? Normal isn't much more different in difficulty than the Hard version while if you look at difficulty levels between DT normal and hard there is a clear gap in the difficulty for the bosses. 

The highest "level" boss in Normal Cursed City is 200 and then Amius is 350. The highest "level" boss in Hard  Cursed City is 300 and then Amius is also 350.  

I wasn't able to kill him the first two rotations killed him the third. No one else in my clan has beat him on normal nor hard. Have the keys haven't tried him this rotation yet though. Don't have any good champ setups that I have enough Souls on to be able to beat him this time though. The only high awakened I have in this one are Rathalos, Genbo, and Doompriest.

The champ restrictions are what make hard inifnitely more difficult than normal, not the levels.  If you compare it to DT, then the higher stages are basically secret rooms.

I haven't done normal on this rotation yet, but I was able to 100% it on the last 3.  I've been able to beat amius on hard all rotations so far, but can barely get into Soulcross typically.  When you're limited to a handful of epics then you have to not only max out a few champs but decide if you want to put your best gear on them for one fight then undo it after.

Yeah, sorry bad explanation! Three rotations in and didn't try the first time...... My champs were often used in DT hard and (for example my ugo) is at 525 resistance and still getting slapped down by a "normal" level boss. Helior for example also has a four star blessing and DT hard tested is getting slapped also. 

I've failed for three rotations now and no closer to doing it this time either. 

Three rotations in. I missed the first and tried for three rotations now...... Last rotation was a spectacular failure also. I wasted around 11M in regearing my doom tower crew for this boss. 

Do you have Blizzar to do the cheese thing?

From what I've seen on the discord about each rotation so far there has been a few key champs if you have them you can cheese with them. The hard part is having those champs lol. 

I missed Blizzar by like 25 fragments for one of the epics. Overslept one day and ended up missing the last DD for it was off by like 100 points at the end when was spamming the dungeons and time ran out so only had 375 fragment lol.  I don't use RSLHelper to do runs for me while I sleep or am away unfortunately.

Ha! Sorry to hear your pain! I ve played since 2019/2020 and yet to even do a fusion event! I missed helicath and was sad about that...... but apart from that. Ignorance is bliss. Good luck in the future and may the RNG gods bless you good sir.

As far as I can figure, the Blizaar cheese should work with a fully booked Aniri as long as you can hit the stats.  Her passive has a 4 turn CD when booked and Blizaar's has a 4 turn CD unbooked.  

You can do the Blizaar cheese unbooked.       

Too bad she isn't in the current rotation but it is a good thing to think about when she is. 

If only there was Team AI controls like everywhere else so that you could set her up with a disabled A2. One of the things in the Blizaar and Cybele vids they talk about is that you need to be around certain health to not trigger something. So you don't want to heal too much. Aniri's A1 won't heal herself, but her A2 would. 

I call it "efficient use of champs" rather than cheating. :D

Interestingly, I could not get the Blizaar technique to work with Regen & Speed gear, but I was able to get it to work w/Regen & Immortal, counter to what Bronko suggested.

I have not watcehd his vid, but apparently Skratch did a vid on the Blizaar technique, but with 100% Crit Rate, Giant Slayer & Phantom Touch and the run takes about half as long.     

I ended up using blizzard on a full team simply as a tank.  WIth two very different teams, my alt (Harima was a beast even though she died early in the fight) was suprisingly easier than my main (Marichka, Riho I thought would make it a breeze).  Teams:

ALT: Dreng, Harima, Blizzar, Doompriest, Ninja (Brimstone)

Main: Marichka, Blizzar, Riho (1star brimstone), Dreng, Ninja (no awakening)

I had the toons to make Amius an easy fight this time around, but three of them have Cycle of Magic, which I refuse to change just for the Amius fight.

The team that was doing the work:  6S Kantra, 4S Harima, 2S Riho, 2S Black Knight, 2S Staltus     

After getting wiped out due to skill resets 4-5 times, I just built Blizaar and called it good.
