There's no one best champion which is why this game is brilliant, so I think my best fav champ is Bad el Kazar, as he is generally useful in most locations, though I don't use him in the arena.

Hi. As a newish player myself, I would have to say your campaign farmer should be your favorite champion. Either one of the starting 4 heroes (I believe Kael is top, but any will do 12.3 Brutal, and I did chose Galek because I did not know that and he looks mean!). I was lucky enough to pull Bellower early on and he does 12.3 Brutal in less than 20 seconds, in the future under 10 seconds when I get him amulet and banner. I will leave you a list of rares that you should never, ever not invest in. They are great and cheap to develop:

• Apothecary (awesome support anywhere)
• Warpriest (decent support and you always get it very early, perhaps obsolete with Apothecary)
  
• Bellower
• Kael
• Athel
• Galek
• Elhain
• Spirithost
  
• Ragemonger (little brother to Juliana, great for poison buff on bosses)
  
• Coldheart (kickass damage on dungeons and most bosses, like Clan Boss)
  

Don't underestimate the usefulness of 1/2 support champs on big fights, arena and such. I was doing under 5M damage on the Clan Boss (Easy and Normal diff) and with Apothecary and Gorgorab and 3 damage dealers I am now above 10M on Easy CB and around 8M on Normal CB. Also moved to Gold I on the Arena.

I am not an expert but I am going through this process too.

Martyr, Venus and Apothicary are tied in my book.  All were game changing for me.

I started with Galek but Right now my two fav's are

Kael (massiv Poison dmg and good AOE)

Sinesha (her A1 is just great as well as two heal-skills which can help a lot --- but are quite hard to upgrade with tomes)

I'd also love to have Sir Nichlas though, he has a lot of Utility in offence as well as Defence (especially in PVP)

i would like a martyr torwin the cold and drextar bloodtwin so i can be a literal god .... 

There are some god tier champions and many good ones. But overall u cant say this is absolut the best, because everyone of the good ones shines in one or more areas of the game. Some like martyr, valkerie, bad el, vizier, venus, dracomorph......are really top ones and u can use them nearly in all parts of the game.

Like me...i put a dutchess lilitu (my best one) 4 weeks ago and it changed my gameplay total. Also a god tier for me. But u need good teams for clanboss or dungeons who fit the roles u need there....so often rares can be usefull the full game for u.

Like me my farmer from the beginning on and my first 6 star was bellower. He does great for me....at the beginning i need 1 min for 12-3 now i make it in 14 sek which is absolut ok for me no need a faster one.

And my coldheart and my apothecary i am often in use.....so u dont need the best ones on the tier lists.....its a pleasure to get one, but u can do all well with good epics and rares.

Just answer the original question, which was not about favorite champs or usefulness of a list of champions.

Given all the fuss I assumed it was Draco...
