no, you don't need crit rate or crit damage. yes, bombs do scale off attack so the attack stat is quite important (bomb champions are really the only time you would use atk% gloves or an attack amulet). whenever you're building a bomb champion, the only stats you need concern yourself with are speed, accuracy, and attack.
Just as an added note the bomb damage is "snapshotted" meaning it's based on the champs attack when the debuff is placed. So if the bomb champ in question loses an attack buff before the bomb goes off there is no negative impact.

The accuracy he has is very specifically for arena. You don't need anywhere close to that amount elsewhere.
That said - not a clue how you pulled that off. I consider my Ratbomber to be pretty well-geared, and in fact mine has *slightly* more ATK than yours (~400 more) - but he's also 50 speed slower, and *350* less ACC.
Guessin you got those artifacts ascended out the wazoo. All I've got on mine is ATK% maxed on chest, and ATK 5* on weapon.
Here's another one that's kind of fun. I actually think she's better than Gaius (but not better than Rat King).
I meant to min-max her during free regear, oops, forgot. But as she is, if she takes a turn, she most likely will kill whoever i target
Of course, Aftershock's tier list has her in dead last position amongs ALL legos. I disagree. She's the only champion who can bomb Duchesses and Mithralas and Siphis to death. Typically those champions will have high resist, and it will take a pretty stacked build on Gnishak to get through them. Astralith requires 0 accuracy. Irresistible double bomb that detonates as soon as victim takes a turn.
Compared to Gaius, i prefer her. Gaius is too easy to counter, i.e. to cleanse. So best case he kills one person, then he does nothing. She has other cool abilities in her kit, but caveat is, she's a bit hard to setup, specifically in live arena, because the opponent can easily disrupt your plans during ban phase. So if she stays in, she kills one person, but that is often not enough.
However, in classic and TTA, I can use her with who i want, and she can solve some puzzles.
Possible fun combo. Astralith/Tuhanarak. I dont have this one, but seeing the kit, i wonder if it can work. Tuha spreads debuffs without increasing their duration (like Vizier). Astra goes first, bombs a Mithrala, Tuha goes next on Mithrala, spreads bombs everywhere, game over...? At least in theory LOL

Yup, and amazingly every piece has good ascension without dusting. So another 300 or so attack and 10 accuracy.

Astra + spread is a somewhat common strategy for high end arena for the exact reasons you mentioned. Jagg Bonesaw can also be used as a spread champ and has the benefit of being the same affinity as Astra.
