Should post a roster instead of just specific champs, as the ratings aren't really that great. Regarding Vogoth - he's pretty useless on Spider20, due to his affinity. Spider20 is green, which means Vogoth (who is also green) won't be targeted by the spiderlings.

There are basically two ways to beat Spider20 - you either just blow the queen up before she gets a turn, usually by using champs with max-hp damage, such as Coldheart and Royal Guard. Or, you use HPBurn to take the boss out by using the spiderlings.

If you have it tuned properly so that Artak gets two turns and is 3rd to act (or later) on your team, he'll do, on average, 11 (10 spiderlings + queen) * 0.03 (HPBurn damage) * 0.97 (3% base resist) * 2 (spiderlings turn + his A2 activation) = 64% of the boss total HP. That means you only need anothr 36% more damage.

That should be quite easy to do with any max-hp champs. Coldheart should be more than sufficient. Add Kymar in for cleanup duty just in case. Then round it out with a DEF Down and, ideally a Weaken champ of your choice. Just make sure that Kymar is slower than Coldheart, and that your DEF down and Weaken champs are faster than Artak, and set Artak to have A3 opener + disabled.

^That guy said it more thoroughly ( 🙂 ) but the single most common way of doing spider 20 is to have an AoE burn champ set the spiderlings on fire, then use turn-meter reduction champs to keep spider from getting a turn. Coldheart is Queen. Visix and Armigar are also top-notch

It took me about 7 min per battle on level 20. I WAS finally able to get my Arbiter. However, I had no HPBurn champ that could do AOE HPBurn at that time. After I got Arbiter, I got Artak as a free login champ.  I put him in an OK set of gear (Nothing to write home about) and I can now do Spider hardmode in an average of 1 minute. Artak with Miscreated Monster is brutal! The shield that Monster deploys IS "To Write Home About".  So dude, the deal is, your Artak should be able to get the job done for you. Just make him fast as you can, give him a minimum of 200 ACC and lots of HP and he will get you thru lv 20, no problem.

Artak fast as possible, 200 acc and butt tonnes of HP, Gotcha... Is booking essential? Any fancy artifact sets I should use like regenerate? From the research I've done I have built my Artak incorrectly. I did build HP, crit rate and crit damage which is great(ish) for pvp and brutal campaign clearing but when it comes to spider the acc is shocking and hes a slow boy. 

190+ spd, 200 acc. Needs a3 booked to 100% landing rate. Other stats and books irrelevant. Make sure a3 is set as opener. Fight should be over in about 30 seconds.

Scyl Morrigaine and Visix are all good support for farming spider, along with Artak

They each bring some tm reduction for big spider and cc for the 'lings

Don't waste time with teams like that. Seriously, just build the one I posted above. Very easy to gear for.

I agree with Kramas on this. Artak is a beast for Spider, even in Hard mode.

Update: We finally conquered stage 20!

Thank you for the help peeps :D This has cheered me up immensely after I pulled sorceress from my primal shard -.-

I used Coldheart, Morrigaine, Teela, Artak, Kymar from my champokémon collection. It was a little messy and had to adjust the AI as Kymar was second champ to attack but firing his a3 (skill reset) instantly, Artak was starting with a2, coldheart was starting the a2. 

Deffo room for improvement but the jobs is done <3
