thats my point, i need to swap her from attack crit to a def based champion, my question is what matters most aside from def (def %)

obv i will get the def up, but what else? is crit still important or is accuracy important.

Like Darth i want to use her for spider, but with a lifesteel set i could her her in ice golem and other dungeons too

I do not have Baroness so I cannot say with certainty, however, I have Tayrel which is one of my strongest champs currently. I have built him with (2) speed sets and (1) defense set.

I would prefer (3) speed sets however I had to choose the best gearing option based on what gear was available to me, his current power is just above 28k

Some people say lifesteal and speed, while, others say full speed.

I have noticed he is always side by side with my champs with lifesteal until the end of the fight and typically can outlast them due to the high defense.

I have focused on crit damage gloves, defense % chest, and base speed boots.

substats include speed, defense%, crit, crit dmg, accuracy, hp%, resistance   -- somewhere in that order

As for i know critical damage works as a multiplier effect. Which means the damage scaling is works for all damage including damage based on defense / damage based on max Hp / damage based on attack. 

If you focus on defense% you will get higher damage + higher defense.

If you build with critical damage/critical rate% you might get higher damage than defense%. 

My suggestion is likes this : 

boots with speed+

chest with def+

gloves with def+ or critical rate / critical damage

amulet with critical damage+

banner with accuracy+

infernal baroness is a bit different then tayrell tho, i will use her primarily for spiders due to the aoe on her a1 and a2

Ok, let me add a suggestion. If you have a DEF based character with some innate self-sustain (such as a self heal), the single best I've found to be the REGENERATION set.  Pieces drop from the Fire Knight.

My first Epic I ever opened up was the Lich. He is DEF based, and has a self heal that also boosts his DEF (harder to kill AND also hits harder too). I have him with +DEF% on gloves, chest, boots.

This guy is slow as molasses, but he will outlast pretty much everything that doesnt involve a mechanic (FK needing 10 hits to burn his shield, etc).
