Would take some of the monotony off. If I run autobattle, my score ends up being lower because of how the AI doesn't have a clue what to do during devour. A simple flag that would automatically turn autobattle off once devour triggers would go a long way towards making my score more consistent.
I can suggest it. I doubt it will get farther than that unfortunately.

My guess is it will be in January at the same time as they do champ "rebalancing"
