I am trying to get past progress mission 235, where you need to beat the Spider's Den 14 on auto 10 times, but I can't even get past 13. I am puzzling over what to focus on to get past this one. My current Spider's den team:
Soon, I'll be able to 6* another hero, and here are a few I have waiting in the wings:
I can beat spider den 14 with manual play. But for auto i got same problem with you.
The theory is we gonna need champion with 2 different AoE type. First AoE is to applied debuff such as weaken / def / spd down. Second AoE is strong damage dealer. Elhain is one the best choices. She has 2 AoE and only Rare ( not too difficult to get ). Dark Athel also good because she has 2 AoE and her skill can slow down the speed.
AoE with bomb type not effective because it need some turns to explode. Small spider is big trouble here. They keep attacking same target and kill one of your champion. We need to kill them before they start attacking our party.

It's difficult to get Legendary but u say it's not difficult to get specific legendary from 60+ legendarys...
Elhain is rare, not legendary. Meaning there ‘s a chance to pull her from mystery shards and it’s way more likely to get her than obtaining a legendary from an ancient shard. We’ll just exclude sacreds since those offer crap chances for legendaries as well
