Just now getting into Hydra. Watched a video stating the HH optimiser (after inputting the boss' HP/Def, etc.) provides builds with substantially less crit damage, but that this damage is optimal given its a boss and that boss' stats. Please confirm.
I'm pretty new but regretting never keeping Cursed gear. Would make some things easier.

Should answer all your questions. Hex is a great damage multipler at any stage, therefore the curse Set (or hex heroes like Mithrala) are more than useful ...
Assuming you have defense down and weaken on the heads you really don't need much CD to hit the 10% cap.

Id recommend it. I think my husk only has around 200 - 210% CD and is hitting the cap on NM. Also consider the threshold gets lowered even more if you're using Cruelty.
