It'd be anything but easy. I'd argue even a 1:1 ratio for a 6* to ancient exchange would be woefully inadequate if my quick head math is anywhere close to reality.

Yup, i think the language master there doesnt take into account that he has hoarded those brews, take a regular joe like me, i dont have any spare shit ever, it would take me good 4-5 days to raise a 6 star food

When youve hoarded thousand of brews and then say its easy ancient farming its pretty much like having 2k salary IRL, stashing 10k over time and then saying youve a 10k salary...what the actual duck

Why i think its fair is because those who have those kinds of resources most likely also have diminishing returns from ancients, cause they probably have piles of godly champs and those who dont have the resources, well as krama sayd they think twice before trading them in for a single ancient

Maybe you are a really "end game" player or simple 4-5 days farming a 6 star food a joke when a run 5 sec at brutal 12/3 and so many players using RSL Helper for this. Ok many players farming with solo dungeon farmer character with 3 food because energy for efficiency. But can farming 5 sec too at other stage. At fusion or champ training event or CvC i make many-many 6 star chickens at least over 50 pieces. After 2x ancient events in every months i get at least 175 3 star chickens plus at least 25 epic foods. So not need from start 2 star chars training from zero. So thats it's not really realistic to say how much energy it takes to develop. Thats the worst scenario and not used any silvers or kegs for training.

You do realize that shards, energy, brews and barrels are finite resources, right? You seem to think time is the only limiting factor.

But tell you what, you tell me what a reasonable amount of resources an end-game account will have available and be able to renew on a regular basis, and let's do some math.

For everyone. Whether you're early or late in the game, there's no magic wand being waved to make resources appear from nowhere. How long it takes you is irrelevant, what matters is the resource investment. Even a 1:1 ratio would not make it viable for farming ancient shards. Using ancient shards for food will only let you save energy and/or brews, and you'd still be trading about 81 ancient shards during a 2x to get the food required to get a single ancient shard back if you consume all the rares and epics.

Buying them would be better, and if money/gems is not an option, just getting them from dungeons would still be a superior option even you completely ignore the gear and silver you'd get out of it.

Normally I go with chase, simply because I can't be bothered with the amount of time it takes to actually make all the food to complete training. This time around I did training though, since I didn't need the void rare from chase.

I need one more night clock I can get from either of these events.

So, I have about 30 3/30s just from doing the daily and monthly campaign objectves over the past few months.  So I need about 90 3/1s.

to do that I'll have to use a few greenies and train a few champs.  I'll see which looks eas to complete after I do that.

in general I've usualy Done both b/c they are both easy. But you've got me thinking. Im  not quite where you are but I see it coming.
