Many of us don't spend at all. Free to Play really just means you play the game at a slightly different pace than a big spender.

What mission are you stuck on? 

The mission is to fuse Justiciar. I need 2 more champions to even begin. Then I'll have to ascend 4 3* champions as well as ascend 1 4 star. At this rate it'll take months to do it, so I'm thinking of just starting all over and strictly do F2P. Believe me I'm no big spender but even $20/month is too much for me lol.

First and foremost - don't worry too much about the missions. They aren't really a great guiding light on how you should progress. There are a bunch of guides, but the tl;dr for a newer player is:

1) Get your starter to 60

2) Get four other champs to 60

3) Farm

Ok so I have my starter and Sun at 60 with several others getting close to 50.

When you say farm can you explain more. Is it to get the others to 60? How do you decide who to take to 60?

Do I just continuously use 1 or 2 star champions to farm?

In terms of who else you should bring to 60, that depends entirely on who you have. Feel free to post a picture of your roster and we can help identify the worthwhile candidates.

In terms of farming? You use 1/2 star champs to turn into food to upgrade other 1/2 star champs to 3 star, and you repeat until you get them to 5 star, then you use them to upgrade the aforementioned useful candidates to 6 star. And, you do this until you have your team of 5 that can farm gear from Dragon stage 20.

Then you do that, while also building up food on the side during your daily/monthly campaign quests, until you're able to build a Clan Boss team that can farm Nightmare. You repeat, repeat, repeat, until you're able to start branching out into other dungeons, Doom Tower, and etc.

Farming is your new word of the day.  We all do it.  It is a major part of the game.

From your list, Tagoar should be your next 60. Check back after that, but if nothing else changes, Aothar will be next. Beyond that, I probably wouldn't bring anyone else up yet.

Agree with Krama! Once you get Taogoar up, maybe drop a new thread with a new roster shot with anyone you've gotten since then, and we'll reassess who might be best for you to bring up next.

I see several champs on her list that I took to 60.  That was before I came to the forum for help.  The early days of the game when I thought I knew it all.  :)

We all mess up.  It is part of the game.  How do you think those giving you great advice learned?  They tried and failed, then tried again.  

There is one "nameless" person who gives great advice but has never built a 1 key unm CB team.  This is a game where you can be your own person and still progress.
