What is the most efficient way to do artifact enhancement events? Bringing an item up from 15 to 16 can sometimes cost over 2 million if the RNG isn't on your side. To what level should I level artifacts?
Also on average how much silver should I have banked for an event?
If you're talking strictly on efficiency, from what I recall, bringing artifacts to 4 is the best RoI. But you'll also just go insane clicking through that.
Personally, in your shoes, I would probably bring artifacts to 16, since I expect you still have quite a few areas to improve. For me, since most of my champs are already just about as good as they can get, and incremental upgrades are few and far between, I take all artifacts to 8 and sell them if they don't hit speed once, and then to 12 and sell if they don't hit speed a second time.
As for how much silver, you can generally assume taking an artifact to 16 will average at around 1.5-2M, and then divide the total points required accordingly. Recently that's been about 4750, and you get about 330 points for each taken to 16, so you're looking at around 20-25M silver.
I find that around 20 million is typically enough to get the fragment/fusion champ for a single artifact enhancement event, unless you get particularly bad luck from the rng
SO if there are 2 AEs, budget 40 million, maybe 45 for a margin of error, and 60-70 if there are 3

if you take 100 items to 4 and sell them, you will still make a little bit of silver. If you take them all to 8, you will be in the red, but it will not be that much. If you take them all to 12, you will begin to take notice.
what I do personally, I have champs trained ascended with scrolls, just need equip. I pick one of them and roll any equipment I'm considering for them up to 16 unless I sell them first. Once they're equipped I've usually got top mile stone and spent around 20M,
