Attn: Plarium. Can someone official please answer a game mechanics related question?

I hope someone from Plarium can provide an answer to this question:

Does accuracy/resistance affect skills that are not debuffs? Specifically, I am referring to skills such as those that remove buffs, steal buffs, or reduce the turn meter.

Characters that serve as examples for these kinds of skills are: Gorgorab, Shaman, Skartorsis, and Alure.

It's not clear whether accuracy/resistance apply to these skills as they're not debuffs by way of the website definition: i.e. they don't have red debuff icons.

Can a Plarium employee please clarify this mechanic?

Thank you.

everything (exept sets) that wants to manipulate anything other then health on the enemy uses acc.

and resist is a counter to all that.

Are you saying that sets aren't affected by accuracy or resistance?

Yes, exactly that. Why would they be?

I was considering about the same thing as well! But I still don't get it. :( So, for instence, the Skartorsis, if I want to inprove its steal buffs, should I increase its ACC ??

The best way to describe this interaction is: Ability effects that interact with the enemy target are behave like debuffs, but actually are not debuffs.

For example, Coldheart's A3 has a Turn Meter decrease effect, so whenever she uses it, there is a check of ACC / RES on if the effect will proc.

In addition, I will live a link to a video about how ACC / RES effects work:

Have a nice one.

The answer to your question is both Yes & No

You need ACC in order to Steal Buffs from the enemy.

The problem is even though you can add ACC to your hero - He will still not steal the buffs all the time.

The reason why is because of his chance percentage.

I explained how ACC works 1 year ago.

I will not rewrite all of what I said.

You can read it in below thread.

https://plarium.com/forum/en/raid-shadow-legends/673_guides-and-tutorials/130532_exactly-how-does-accuracy-work-/

The only thing I will add is Skartosis is a very good hero.

The only problem is his Chance can't reach 100%

This means his ability to steal buffs will always be Coin Flip - No matter how much ACC you put on him.
