Not really sure what you're asking. Can you clarify?

Glyphs are one use regardless of what they roll, so once you use them they're gone.

I mean - i upgraded artifact to 16lvl, then i`m using glyphs. Before i use glyphs only 4-5*, but now i use glyphs starting from 1* and going to 5/6*

Are you asking whether it's better to use lower-quality glyphs first, and then higher-quality ones?

If so, the answer is no. You don't get any increased chance of landing higher rolls on items that are already improved. If you use a 3-star DEF% glyph and get +2% DEF, and then you use a 5-star DEF% glyph, you still have the same chance (20%) of getting either +3%, +4%, or +5%. The other two rolls (+1% and +2%) will simply show the roll failing to upgrade.

Ok, thanks! yes, my question was it`s ok i was using 4-5* glyphs, but not start with 1*.

Oh for that absolutely.  No need to "build" them from  lower stars to higher, you can start as high as the rank of the item will let you.
