I was going to do this, though it would have stretched my reserves and after the last fusion I completed I might not have managed this one, however when the required points came out I decided to pass. I know the top hitters will have the necessary energy, shards etc. but how is it stacking up for the rest of you?
So far so good, havent used any gems whatsoever, but refills are all gone. Used 5 sacreds, 1 void, some greens, got an Alure and whatever else.
I'm on track, but, it is stretching my in-game time a little more than i'd like to. those DD's are real killers. Maybe i'll take part in the middle summon rush just to avoid grinding forever for next 2 weeks... Guess it will depend on how it's structured.
Provided life doesn't get in the way I should be able to get it. My only real concern is the 2nd fusion event. I am hoping that I have everything I need by that event. Three artifact enhancement events are going to be hard to come up with all of the coin. I am hoping with the super raids I will be able to get enough gear to sell to make ends meet. It is going to be tough but I should be able to churn it out.
This legendary fills a huge hole on my team but if I had something similar I would pass on this one. The costs are really high and the next fusion could be someone like Gnut that could be game-changing in some areas. Better to make sure you get that one for more mature teams.
Yeah I just watched a HH 'rant' seems the energy and time requirements are stupidly high for the dungeons, something like 6000 energy and if your Ice Golem time is about 3 mins you'll have to run it for 8 hours, and thats just one Dungeon

I guess it's a case of pick your fusion, I certainly can't do every one that comes up

I think that one of the resources that people run up against is available time. I know that is a limitation for myself.
One thing I need to do soon but it is hard to rip of the bandaid is that my clan doesn't clear NM or UNM. So I am losing out on chests. I will need to find a new one soon. I mean, I should not be the one putting out the most damage on NM.
All that aside, I don't think everyone should be able to get every fusion. Especially since they are often some of the best legendaries in the game. The game will get real old if everyone has the same champions and the same teams.
Another thing that I will add is that Fyr-gun is not a bad consolation prise. Even if you cannot pick up the fusion having two or three of her in your roster adds some fun and flexibility.

The main question then becomes... is it enjoyable to spend that much time on Dungeon Divers... I agree with your assesment that it is doable under those conditions, I would simply suggest that it is not fun. (specifically regarding the Dungeon Divers events)
Dungeon divers is just "run your 50+ autobattles per day, overnight if you need to". That's all.
Two down. Two to go. I wish I had the fragments to do the summon rush to take some of the pressure off the third dungeon divers and the spider tournement is going to be a slog. I am just not set up to quickly burn through spider. I will have to do the math to figure out the best ballance of time vs. energy.
Shibb easy spider 20 team. 1) any champ with dec def & weaken on the same skill and must go 1st. (Belanor,Draco,Lydia,) off the top of my head. There are more. Avoid Rhazin bad affinity. 2) Gnut A3 opener. AND 3 food champs. OR bring a Royal Guard or Cold Heart if your Gnut doesn't hit hard due to his gear. Open with enemy max HP skill. And if you don't have Gnut, it can be done with any combo of 4 enemy max HP skill champs. My F2P uses Royal Guard lead, Belanor, Gnut, & 2 foods. Full auto 7-12 second run. Disclaimer.... This is not 100% win rate. More like 90-95% wins as the spider has a 3% chance to resist the Decrease D or the weaken. Also level 20 dungeon is 170 speed and 200 ACC. Hope this helps

My current lineup is: Kav, Geo, Drex, Artak, and Visier. It works fine but it is slow.
Uugo is a no. Champ must have decrease defense & weaken on the same skill. Husk yes. Could be used as an enemy max HP champ.

Fayne?
Yes Fayne should work. She must be the fastest. All champs over 170 speed. Fayne has to open with her A3 and it has to have at least 4 books to 100% chance to land. Again the spider has a 3% chance to resist, but IMO running the food is worth it. Do you have Gnut and Husk? If so open with their enemy max hp skill and bring any 2 food champs (food is any speed)
Royal Guard is the leader. Sometimes it takes 3 turns to kill the spider. Sometimes if fails if the debuffs don't get placed
