Tournaments scaling

Question.  Does anyone know how the tournaments and events scale to the player?  My wife and I play side by side.  And her tournaments have a much smaller point requirement for the rewards.  Where as mine are unreachable with out buying energy.  Lots of it.

The dragon tournament for example.   I'm level 55 I get 125 energy at full.  The super raids for level 13 give me 24 points.  You get 5 for a full energy so 120 points or so...  And only 3 days to make 2200? What am I missing here?

They do scale to the player, yes.

Is it typical for one to hit a wall with progression?  I have used 2200 energy on the dragon and still no shards for the fusion.

Seems the event is either for paid players or a joke from plarium. As a F2P player the task of pulling 33k energy just for the fusion and leveling them in the giving time is impossible.

Trying to do fusions does become difficult at a certain point without having NM/UNM too chest resources (shards), being able to do dungeon 20s across the board and usually being able to get at least the daily resources from normal Doom Tower.

Fusions are quite resource intensive. When we get to the point where we're generating enough resources to do them there are things we can do like saving fragment fusions for future Champ Chases in fusions.

Thanks for the Info.  I'll just go back to leveling chickens till I can break thru.  Not about to pay 200 dollars for a glorified PK.

I mean, your math is quite simply off. Using 2200 energy, even by your own numbers (0.96 points per energy), would translate into 2112 points, which is just a bit shy of the amount you need (2250 iirc). How do you go from that to saying that you need 33k energy, then?

And as for your conclusion that this guy is a glorified painkeeper? That's just so laughably wrong I don't even know where to start. There are exactly *three* champs in the game that do what this guy does, namely, Helicath, Sir Nicholas, and Roshcard the Tower. That's a very small pool to choose from. This guy singlehandedly enables 1-key UNM teams. If you aren't already doing that, you 100% should be spending every resource you have to ensuring you get it.

My math comes from the fact it took 2200 for 25 shards.  So multiply that by 4 then again by 4.  That comes up to 35200 energy.

The term glorified PK didn't imply the champ was no good. It's just I have a pk. And could use the 35k energy else where.

I 100% guarantee you that there is absolutely nothing you could do, whatsoever, that would provide you a better return on investment than getting this fusion champ. Zero.

Furthermore, with regards to your requirement of 35200, let's take that at face value. Assume you get 1000 energy for free every day, to be simple (the actual number is likely more). The fusion goes from the 3rd to the 16th, so 13 days. That means you get about a third of the required energy for free, just for playing the game.

The remaining amount you'll need to find other means to get, but there are quite a few of those which don't require spending money. Gems are the obvious avenue, but there's also clan gold you can use to buy refills, as well as Doom Tower.

If you haven't saved anything up at all, and you're a newer player, then yeah you may need to dip into your wallet - but $200 sounds like a lot more than you should need to spend. Personally I wouldn't know, as I've never spent any money on this game. But I reiterate my starting point - if you can get this guy, do everything in your power to do so. He is worth it.

Unfortunately I just blew everything I had on the CVC this last weekend.  But it seems one would need to be better prepared for a event like this.  Least I got a lot of loot from the dragon.

905 is the free energy one gets a day.  1 every 3 minutes plus 3 refills and 50 reward in advanced.  But I see your point.
