Really Plarium?? Fusion Pack Increase

I normally grab the fusion packs in the store because they are a great deal at $30. I wasn't doing the fusions either, it was just a good deal for a pack. So of course leave it up to Plarium to increase the price to $40. I'll never buy it again now. Why do they have such a bogus model?? They just froze out a player that would spend at least $30 a month (whenever the fusions were happening)

... because they concluded from internal metrics that the price increase would net them more overall money? Like, is this a serious question?

People often say things like this, but there is no console/PC game I have ever played everyday like I have done so with Raid and Summoners War. IMO think less about the price as much as how much play time you're getting from it. Not that I'm much of a spender, but I don't feel guilty when I do. :)

Maybe - but you're paying for a bit of code, nothing tangible, buy Skyrim or any other game for example you get a whole playable game, spend 30 a month thats 360 a year, seems a lot to me to continue playing a game you don't actually have to spend any money on

True, and when i see prices i struggle to understand how anyone finds the 'deals' to be good value.

On my offers page its £30.00 and gets you hardly anything useful (one sacred and a few other shards and a small amount of energy/refills). Its "lol" territory for me

However clearly people find it to be decent value and pay, plarium makes a lot of money and without people who did pay there would be no game for ftp people.

It mostly has to do with how much you earn //your income ...

Everything you could spent for in game is all related to progress of your account  , So a good deal depends on how much time it would take to earn the same f2p vs just buying that pack .. at least thats how i determine if a pack is a good deal or not ..

How much of my weekend would i need to work to pay it off vs the time it would take f2p , which is differen for everyone ...

Edit: Then plarium offers you better more expensive packs has you buy or reduces it to cheaper packs when you stop buying .. but in the end , its all about your income vs in-game time .. a good deal for you wont be a good deal for me , etc ^^

Income is a factor, but I am not sure it's just about income unless the person is earning  ridiculous amounts. Some f2p players will be f2p because they feel more satisfaction succeeding on the game without paying to win.

Personally? I can afford the packs, but they seem to give so little benefit for the money that it's not going to happen.

But it's a matter of perception and I am grateful to those who fund the game.

You're looking at this wrong. The business model has nothing to do with delivering you "value" in the traditional sense. Rather, consider this to be like a casino, and everything makes more sense.

It may surprise you to learn that all computer games are code, even Skyrim. :D

Oh no no no no no. Some games are tangible in that you have them on a disk on a console instead of on a phone.  Oh wait.

I conceed that point 😀  however what I think folk miss is that it's not pay to win as is often mentioned, all that buying anything in this game can get you further along the achievement/progress line quicker than folk who spend nothing

If your goal is to achieve everything you can in the game in the shortest time then fine, spend your money, evetually you'll get there, you might have the best champions, but eventually the non spenders will get to the same point as you just a lot slower and with more grinding and probably not have the same roster as the spenders
