While on the surface it looks like it would, by virtue of getting one of the epics for the top reward - realise that the fusion as a whole requires three copies of the force epic and one of the void epic, and the void epic can ONLY be obtained from fusing four void rares, which means you need to get the champ chase reward as well.
My personal plan - I'll probably be skipping the first two dungeon divers, and doing the third one since I have to. I'll also probably skip the last artifact enhance, since I'm too lazy to bother figuring out what needs upgrading.
My plan is to get the rare with mystery shards in summon rush, and do all events. Unless the epic is absurdly low point wise, which I don't anticipate.

yep, planning pretty much the same. I grab whatever I can - when I can. Never know what might come up IRL and cost your time during a fusion...
